Fishing Graphex Medium Casting Rod

Quantum casting rods are light weight, have very good action, at a price point everyone can afford. The good stops there, the rest is due to Amazon's lack of proper packaging and or quality control of products. I ordered three rods, they came in three seperate boxes. All three had zero packing and zero protection. Two of the three had 6 inches of the tip broken off and the broken part was not in the box. Amazon has the best return policy so I sent the two broken ones back.

A Great buy and a great looking rod. Will Add more review later if I find any flaws, but it's a good sturdy rod.

Rods perfect medium bass rod. Butt is nice cork and guides are good. Order 3 and you might get one that makes the trip. First one in a plastic bag, broken in half of course. Second one in a 6' box. Rod is 7', come on guys. shipping used the rod shrinker to get it in the box. 3rd one in the proper box and made it. I would ask the rod mfg to supply a tube and more products would not need to be returned.

This is a nice enough rod for someone who doesn't fish every day. The biggest complaint I have is the long handle. It's not as long as some of them. I prefer shorter and larger diameter handle. UPDATE: Was casting with 1/4 Oz lure. No fish on line and rod snapped...Too late to send it back. Only 2nd time I had it in water. Apparently, it is Poor China Quality.

Like it for it's compact size ,yellow color with stainless eyelets looks great . Tip is very sensitive for trout and small fish and apears strong enough for larger fish . It's important to twist each section as you gently collapse them specially the tip section .These were made to catch fish ,they are not 7 foot bass poles made for 65 pound braided line and harsh yanking but will with reasonable care perform and cast well with my new Zebco omega z3 ,by the way is the best spincast made anywhere,cut brass pinion and face gears , 7 ball bearings , machined aircraft aluminum with threaded screw on spool cover and a oscillating spool I've caught 4lb and larger on a 4 ft micro south bend telescopic rod quite a very fun fight but that poll wasn't near the poll the egale claw is . Have fun it's a good pole any good Zebco 33 will work well with it and you don't have to haul around a 7 foot stick 😉!

Update: first trip out, the inner ring of the tip eyelet came loose. Had to replace the tip eyelet. Guaranteed it was due to the packaging. I like the rod.Original review: Luckily it arrived in one piece. The tip eyelet was a little bent but it was easy to bend it into shape. I’m knocking off one star for the packaging. It came rattling around loosely in a huge box, USPS could not deliver due to being oversized, I had to pick it up from the post office. Me and the PO guy laughed at how big the box was.In contrast, I recently ordered a Kastking rod from Amazon and it came secured in a tube packaged so the rod wouldn’t move around. The way it should be.This Quantum rod itself is nice. I like the cork handle and the aluminum oxide guides. It feels good like higher end rods.

Es muy buena caña, pero es chica y para pesca ligera. No creo que aguantaría mucho peso, mejor la regresé. Creo que puede ser muy buena opción para niños iniciando con carretes “baitcasting”.

I purchased this rod to pair with a aliexpress reel I picked up for BFS fishing after seeing a vid. By " The reel test".After fishing it on my kayak for 2 days solid ( to my wife's dismay, lol) I can highly recommend it.I was trolling it with a " hot & tot " lure and this 18" walleye hit.Rod handled locking up with the fish and turning my kayak around no problem.It's also sensitive enough to feel every strike . ( I also caught a nice smallmouth on same trip but phone battery died so no pics, sorry)The short length is great 4 kayak fishing.Also this rod will toss very light lures no problem.I had 2 take it easy and " roll the wrist" with heavier lures or she loads up pretty quickly but casting 1/32 oz? No problem.Hope this helps.I would def. ( and prob. Will) buy another.Only nit picker is that the handle is a tad short. But it's manageable.

Good quality fishing rod; premium cork handle and eyes. Action is good too; excellent for trout fishing.

Ordered 1. The tip snapped on the first use. Figured maybe it was a 1 off issue. Ordered a second one. It showed up with the tip snapped off in the box. Forgot to send the return back in time and got charged for both. I should have just bought a better quality rod
