PGN Bearings - R4-ZZ Shielded Ball - 1/4"x5/8"x0.196" - Lubricated - Chrome Steel (10 PCS)

These bearings were very nice, but I don't think they were a good fit for my application. I was trying to replace the bearings on a Golden Tee trackball. The fit was perfect, but they lacked the sustained 'spin' of the originals. They were super smooth and felt like they would have good control.However, I did end up returning them to find a closer match to the stock set.

I bought these to check them out and compare with VXB bearings I have been using for many years. The VXB are currently about $2 each, where as these are around $0.80 each. I use these for English Wheel Anvil bearings and I need something fairly precision and tight, which these are not. I would not feel comfortable installing these into a product that I am selling to my metal working customers, and so I am returning them. I placed an order for qty. 50 of the VXB brand instead.

Also bought these for Happ trackball. They fit perfectly, but don’t have that loose,sustained spin you want in a trackball. You can tell they don’t spin very freely just by holding them between your fingers and spinning them.

I bought these for an HP 40 nitro engine. They work perfectly.

Purchased to replace worn out bearings in my arcade trackball. The arcade parts shops want $4-6 each for the bearing. Got 10 for less than the price for 2 from the arcade shops.
