Worked okay for a while, good while it worked, but intermittently stopped charging, then stopped working completely after around three months. Have tried everything to resurrect. No joy. Avoid. Deserves no star.

It's strong

Have not tested how it handles water. Sound can get a little distorted while set to max on unit and on phone. FYI, volume is controlled separately on unit and phone. In other words it the units volume is down and the phones is up you are NOT going to hear anything - you need to decide which you want to control from or set in the middle for each (I set the unit all the way up and control volume from the phone). Considering its size it is loud, set it on the deck and can play in the yard fine - don't expect it to blast and play so load you can't have a conversation 20 feet away. Did not install the companies app, since my phone displays the battery life left on the unit and Alexa works from the device (you do need your phone unlocked and Alexa installed on the phone to work though - just press the top button, BT icon).Cons, is the unit disconnects from my phone when it hit 20% battery life (does that mean I will get 20% less run time?). Run time - unknown so far.

The built-in speakers on my laptop went out, so I got this bluetooth speaker so I could hear audio. It was easy to pair and sounds really good. There's a volume control on the speaker itself, which is good. The sound degrades a wee bit if listening to audio with a lot of "boomy" bass. Overall, the sound is good. I just wish I could have a pair of them for 'stereo' sound or maybe pair a few to the laptop and spread the speakers around the room. I'm happy with this speaker. :)
