Excellent pedal
It's amazing. It has a great sound for any bass you connect at the input. The COMP has a quick attack and large release time, with 1/4 knob it compresses very well and also adds sustain. The SansAmp section emulates faithfully tube amps which admits you playing in any stage with vintage Ampeg sound directly from the XLR output. With the OCTAFILTER you can spend an entirely day playing with the knobs and taking diferents sounds, from a clean fuzz to a synth with an infinite sustain, is a very interesting section. And the CHORUS has an orgasmic tone. In conclusion, it's an excellent pedal for the price and it's also very well constructed. I'm happy to have it in my pedalboard.

Tech 21 customer support is great!
The AC adapter is splitting after only 5 months of light use but Tech21 is amazing and sent a brand new power supply. The good:* The Sansamp EQ sounds great. Exactly what I was hoping for.* Compression is good. Better than my last multi-effects pedal. (Line 6 M9).* The boost does what it says. The OK:* The Chorus is basic and works for most songs. You won't get a lot of non-standard sounds out of it.* Fuzz is all right. I can get Muse's Uprising fairly convincingly. The bad:* The Q is not really usable, tracks badly.* The octaver sounds bad alone. You need to use it with the Fuzz or not at all. Poor tracking.* Not true bypass. If the AC adapter fails you've got a silent setup.* Be gentle with the AC adapter. It seems to split open really easily and there is no battery option.Would I buy this again? Probably not. I would probably skip this and buy a SansAmp, a proper compressor and then the individual effects that I need. This was a lot cheaper/smaller than buying the pedals individually though.

Best bass rig
So I saw this in a bass forum and was really interested.. After a couple of video reviews I was convinced that this is the absolute bass rig... This thing has all the effects that can shape your tone to your liking.. A big issue for me was the fact that I didn't want to have a big pedal rig with a bunch of pedals but at the same time I wanted options when it comes to changing and transforming the tone of my bass... This was the perfect thing. When I received it in the mail I quickly gave it a test... And man what can I say it's totally worth the money

I am Really happy with this pedal
I am Really happy with this pedal, however there were some things that weren't so great. As far as the pedal itself goes, I do wish the XLR and Headphone buttons weren't right next to the OCT controls. It's WAY too easy to hit those on accident, causing huge loudness problems. The package itself was a bit messed up: the tin was bent in/down a bit [I got over that quick], and there was a split in the power adapter...Luckily the Pedal itself sounds great. also IT'S SO LITTLE

XLR pops every time I stepped on it
Pedal has a nice feature set, but the XLR connection seems defective on many of these as I’ve seen in the reviews. I figured I’d try it, but after I plugged it in via XLR and stepped on any of the foot switches, there’d be a loud POP. I had to unplug the XLR, get a separate DI and run out of the 1/4” output of the pedal to the DI which worked great, but a pedal of this price shouldn’t have that XLR issue. It sounds like Tech 21 should’ve designed the XLR better and not crammed it into the smallest place possible. I returned the pedal and just went back to utilizing my Sansamp bass driver v2, a very good Tech 21 product.

Portable, Flexible and SansAmp
I love the small footprint of the FlyBassRig. I can get a variety of sounds out of it, which is good for someone who is looking for variety of tone. The SansAmp is the star of the show and highly recommend it for any bassist seeking to have a kick ass tone.

Although Tech 21 is perhaps my favorite gear company
Although Tech 21 is perhaps my favorite gear company, this pricey piece of gear falls short. I've owned the VT1969, compactor, sansamp and loved them all. This pedal has a nice metal case but cheap feeling pots. I could overlook that, but the sound quality is just average at best. Are these made in China? Or party made in China? I'd like to know...It sound remarkably like something Behringer would make. That's perfectly fine, but not for $300. Maybe it's just me .. others seem to be very happy. I would, however, check out the Zoom B3 and related Zoom models- they are really terrific for a lot less.

Sensational
I finally had a chance to use the Bass Flyrig at a gig last night. One word - sensational. No rig, just Di out from the flyrig into the PA and my in ears.I finally had control of my tone through the sansamp, a boost when needed and chorus on occasion. The jury is out on the Octaver. An octave up would be awesome!I'm a happy Chappy.
