Dog Prong Training Collar, Stainless Steel Choke Pinch Dog Collar with Comfort Tips(Packed with One Extra Links)

I personally don't like pinch collars as it is a lazy method of controlling your dog as opposed to training them. However, I don't currently have enough time to work training my rescue dog so I have resorted to this collar as an interim measure.The collar is exceptionally well made and easy to adjust. Once on, it is secure as there is both a clip and two D rings which mean that it is highly unlikely to break or come unfastened accidentally.The prong covers are a great idea as the point of a pinch collar is to pinch not to puncture and the tips reduce the risk of injuring your dog should they suddenly decide to lunge after a rabbit.

I've owned similar collars and this one really was just hard to work with. I have had no problem on other collars changing links in and out by hand using links as the way to fasten the collar - this one I had to grab pliers to get the links in and out. Then once I finally got it adjusted, the links fell out because I pushed them to far. The metal has to be malleable enough to both pinch in and then move back out to fit or it defeats the purpose.

I love the fact that the prongs come with removeable rubber covers and also the collar has a clasp or buckle that makes it easy to put on and take off. The linked prongs can be removed to make it the exact size you need. That part is more difficult, but once sized, it's a great training collar and as my puppy gets bigger, I can add the extra prongs back, so the collar grows with her. I bought the large collar for my 6 month old German Shepherd. I removed 3 prongs.

Loose on our 90 lb German Shepherd, took a link out and it was better. Worked great on day 1 but 5 days later it’s not affecting him as much but i don’t know if he’s young and just can’t fight the urge to back at the many neighborhood dogs

Great heavy duty construction. It takes a few times putting on and taking off to get use too. I'm not sure it's extremely comfortable for my dog however I have this to keep her safe.I do recommend!
