Indispensible*
Not much to explain here - it has transformed my models from reasonably decent fighters into incredibly detailed representations. I'm amazed by this stuff - took me a number of years to be brave enough but I can definitely recommend it. It will pick out all recessed and raised details in your models, and is also great for smudging across wings, exhaust nozzles and landing gear stanchions for that realistic weathered look.Love it.- February 2021 Update -I've had to remove a star. Everything I have said above holds true still, but... The longevity of this stuff is just not quite there. I've gone through about 5 or 6 bottles of this stuff in a year, and I've probably used around half. The issue seems to be the solvent component, I can't tell if it is methylated spirit, denatured alcohol or something else (without looking at the label somewhere) but whatever liquid it is that mixes with the pigment appears to either break down over time or flash off to atmosphere.I have a number of half-full bottles of this now, and can't use it, because it just doesn't mix up anymore. It can be partially revived with white spirit/turpentine, but not for long.Still excellent while usable, but it won't last as long as you think.

Does what it says on the tin
This is a good enamel wash, useful for highlighting panel lines etc. I had really good results on the first time I used it. If you know what this is and what it's used for, then I can recommend this. If you don't, then you probably don't need it. Humbrol do this wash in a variety of colours - I've only used the black, but if the others are of this quality then they are worth a go as well.
