Service Course CX Handlebar Tape and Plugs - Black

Great tape. Slight cushion (not too much), good grip even when sweaty. Good feel. I put on gravel bike but this is likely my go-to tape for all my bikes including road.For reference, I’ve tried Cannondale, arundel, lizard skins.

After trying the abysmal Cannondale hextack tape that ripped after 150 miles, I am quite pleased with the Zipp tape. It withstood a direct fall, didn't rip, and I was even able to effectively rewrap it. Solid deal for the price.

Easy to install but if you have aero bars pull tight and space wide to fit the whole bar

This is my fav. I put this on all my bikes. Install can be tricky because not as stretchy as some but the quality is still tops! I love this stuff. Feels great on the bars and just enough soft.

This is great tape. A nice balance between cushion, feedback, and weight. Pleasant, grippy texture for my use--commuting without gloves or with gloves in bad weather. The only downside is the sad use of a once-great name that formerly signified innovative high end products, now degraded in a shameless effort to shill mundane--even if well-executed--consumables. Call it sometime other than Zipp and I'd grant five stars without reservation!

In use on a gravel bike set up for racing - a subtle advantage that makes a big difference in comfort over long gravel races. Noticed less hand discomfort from vibrations after switching. Matches the Zipp aero road bars nicely.
