Cleared my misconceptions
Before that book, I was not able to connect the dots of how our concepts actually connected and what holds them together. When did design came into existence and how industry played a role. It cleared many of my misconceptions from earlier. This made me a more confident designer.

Very wide view point and interesting concepts
The media could not be loaded. The books is a must read for any designer.I expected this books to scratch some surface level design concepts but it turns out to be a very deep, thoughtful and detailed book.I have enjoyed every chapter. The book not only provides concepts but also the history, present and the future possibilities.

Great book with some design history
Its more about the evolution of user friendly design and its history than how to achieve user friendly design in a step by step process. It lays down certain broad principles though. However, the design of everyday things is a better book for understanding design.

Absolutely a must read for all the age groups to know how technology is overtaking our lives
The Book is really engrossing and it has focused on the unknown territory of the design area where we generally don't trade. A must read for any design student and everybody in general. A possession worth every penny.

Not good read for designer
It is just a history book so not a good read for designer who are searching for good Deisgn knowledge..Plus the quality of product was not good as the book was folded and not in proper shape
