This product was used to clear tub drain pipe after one of my children let a baby rag go down the drain since the drain stop is only a plug. I had to use in the basement in order to gain access to the clogged pipe since the drum trap prevented me from clearing the plugged up drain from inside the tub. I simply followed the instructions and the auger grabbed onto the rag and I was able to pull it out of the drain instead of pushing it further down the drain to the sewer line. I originally had a couple questions for the manufacturers prior to use and the response time was super fast. I will definitely be utilizing more of their products if needed in the future.

This was a great do-it-yourself tool. I found it works best for the bathroom sink and tub drains. These drains usually have hair and it's easy get the hair out with this tool. It didn't work well for my kitchen drain. My kitchen drain was plugged with congealed cooking oil. The spiral head to the cable wasn't wide enough to sufficiently clear out the oil.

Bought for my rain gutters. Took a a few minutes to get used to it, but then it was smooth SAILING...orREAMING is more accurate.Cons) Better instructions would be nice.Not Rocket Science but a few more hints would be better.

The DrainX works wonderful! I pulled stuff out of that drain that was probably there from the last residents over 20 years ago! The entire process of using it and cleaning it took all of maybe 5 minutes.

This product was unable to get past the pee trap and I had to call in a plumber. I hope it will work better for other drains. I would suggest that a stronger auger be used for toilet clogs.

Convenient, will get a job done, is well made.

The first time I used it I was putting it up and all of a sudden it just started spinning the metal cord it can’t be fixed. Disappointed ☹️

Item arrived in good shape. I snaked two tub drains and it improved the flow in both. However, it didn’t pull any debris back, it must have just pushed it into the main 4” line where it’ll get washed down.The snake definitely wants to come out of the auger, so be sure to keep a hold on it when you get near the end of the 25’ (if you need to go that far). Investing in a drain hair catcher will likely prevent you needing to use this again anytime soon.Tip: When snaking a tub, you usually want to go down the overflow pipe to get to the drain line, instead of directly into the tub drain.I don’t see myself using the little handbag it came with, or the gloves. But if attending a drain snaking competition event those might come in handy.

I used this a few time and it did great job I had really bad situation with my bathroom and I used it and had great awesome results very recommended it really saved me hounded of dollars I never thought I would say such thing for online order but I really did , company were going to charge me 400 Canadians and I got it done in short time without big mess. Thanks
