beware of the pleats
The seller of this item got it to me very fast - thanks! But the pattern was not the quality I expected. First, I'm not sure some of the measurements are correct. I think the yardage needed for view B (the skirt) and view C (the petticoat) are switched. It took about 3yards for the skirt. Next, the pleats on the skirt per the pattern are not all the same size and the spacing between the pleats is not the same. After I pinned them according to the pattern, they did NOT look professional. So I did my own pleats instead. Really Cosplay and McCalls - you can do a LOT better. I added a zipper to the skirt instead of the two side openings. Again, wanted it to look more professional, and who likes the gaps of openings with only skirt hooks.
