Well worth it
Good story line. Creative and a good read. A bit corny but well worth a couple hours. Loading book 2 now.

Entertaining
Fun read. I looked forward to reading more of the story. The content kept me interested. I thought with a dozen women and one man, there would be more sex. That didn't seem to matter.

Fun fantasy
Fantasy harem adult situationsJake is the MC, and a tunnel deep in an underwater cave, either transit to the past or a parallel world. Hints on the latter with animals from different ages living together. Carnivores are slower than expected, but casualties would dampen the mood. Entertaining. Have book 2.

For the ARK Gamer
I am fairly certain this is written by an avid ARK gamer. So many similarities to the game to be coincidental. That said, it is a decent story. An ecosystem and world is well described and works. It creates a real survivalist component to the story within the world. Other than the magical transport to the world, the story is devoid of the normal fantasy overdose found in these stories. Considering this is a harem story, the sex is more natural as well.Until/unless Audible releases this story by a different narrator, do not purchase/listen to that version. The narrator is perfect for an old cowboy that smoked unfiltered cigarettes for their entire life. He is certainly not suited to pulling off women's voices or this story, though.Overall, a good escape read. Not overly dramatic, flawed, or over the top.

There’s the good stuff
The book feels shallow and character development seems either nonexistent or happens offscreen.BUT! Don’t pass up this read. The book starts strong. Like, really strong. I started this book around 11pm thinking it would be like so many other books like it. When I finally came up for air it was 5 in the morning and I needed to start getting ready to go to work... as the book goes on it starts to feel like the author was running out of steam. He gives less info about what’s happening and inserts a few time skips to try and keep the story flowing. Strangely, I don’t feel like that’s a negative here though as it is fairly well done. The book ends strong on a soft cliffhanger that gives me just the right mix of “I can’t wait for the next book!” and “WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?!?! YOU CANT LEAVE ME LIKE THIS!!”Over all this is a good book, a wonderful guilty pleasure, an exciting start to a series, and an easy recommend to anyone looking to pass some time in the wet dream of a pubescent boy.

okay book.
The lost in the jungle theme is by no means a new one. The one thing I liked about this book is that the sex scenes were fairly short. Ya know give a bit of context then let the reader imagine the rest. So I’ll read the next 2-3 books and will likely enjoy the distraction just as much. Thanks for sharing your talents.

The magic isn't there
Man (Professor who's a middle aged hunk), takes a group of 12 college age girls into a cave on a underwater archeology expedition and ends up discovering that the cave has a magical portal to a Lost World.Well, Lost World tales aren't new. Harem tales aren't new. Dumb MCs (who should be reasonably smart) aren't new.Ok, let's admit it, nothing about this tale is "new". It's pieced together from other plots and in many cases the derivative nature of the writing is rather oppressive. And yet, I have to admit that I did not dislike the story. It's just that it wasn't magical. I've read better tales about people in a primitive society trying to survive. And while I have to admit that harem tales can be fun, I've pointed out in other reviews that many seem to rely on having a main character who just might be able to win a game of chess..... played against a rock.... if they had the advantage of the rock accepting a handicap. This MC isn't quite that bad, but he's passive far too often. So I will call this one 3 star. Its fun, its interesting, but it isn't magical. Its another solid effort to add to the genre, without being anything more than that.

Good read
For what it is, a pure adult fantasy, it is a good read. Action quick, but could use more sex when sex is implied.

Robinson Crusoe meets Jurassic Park.
First book from this author and happy to say it will not be my last.It may be a theme similar to many other books but this one has a little something more. One man and twelve scantily clad gorgeous students would normally result in a skimpy story line to link the obvious sexual element. Not so . The author has taken care and time to set up a clever, if not completely new fantasy start to the story. The excellence of the book results from a believable situation where the characters have to adapt and survive in a totally unreal situation. Yes there are relationships. One man and twelve women what do you expect. My only concern and hence only four stars is the failure to allow the reader to get to know the individual characters more. The majority are still only just names. I hope as the series progresses this is something the author will tackle. There is still plenty of storyline for several more books and I am looking forward to reading them.My thanks to the author. Will also be looking at other of his series.

Couldn't stop reading
Couldn't stop reading. I love other world and isekai stories. Love harem stories too. This was a whole new take and I really enjoyed this book. Luckily I had the day off to really enjoy it. Check out his other books too. You won't be disappointed!

A good story!
Not very ofton I read this type of books, but I really enjoyed it! Lots of well thought out action bits, some sex scenes but tastefully done, I actually read it in one sitting. I would recommend this book.

Good story, I expected much less
I imagined that it would be a poem tale but it was a good balance between the well written action and sex scenes. The characters we also well written as well. Looking forward to the next one.
