Endless Energy: A Blueprint for Productivity, Focus, and Self-Discipline - for the Perpetually Tired and Lazy

Basic Guide to Energy Management
All around, not a bad book. The crux of the book involves the proper management of our own inherent energy, how to cultivate more of it, and how to remove "energy vampires" from our path to help us feel better. While I am not unfamiliar with any of the concepts in this book, I think the author did a great job of concisely weaving them together. While I would urge other readers to go off and research more deeply into the main principles he described, Mr. Hollins did a solid job of introducing the concepts and explaining how we can manage our energy more effectively. This book is a quick read, and I would urge others to give it a try, especially if they feel chronically tired and may need a place to start to see what the issue may be.

Great information presented well
I am always tired and drained and honestly the last thing I thought would help was words on a page, but I am pleasantly surprised! This book covered some stuff that's pretty common sense like sleep hygiene, diet, and exercise but it expanded on the science with a sensible plain language approach that makes it more appealing to read. It also goes into the many factors for what's costing you energy both internally and externally and it's useful because some of these factors might not have eve occurred to you but it's plain as day when it's presented to you.Beyond introducing the different factors that are positives or negatives for your energy (and breaking down the energy into divisions for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) it explains the reasoning behind it very well and gives resources to correct them. The book starts off perfectly by talking about when you have no energy you're dividing by zero. I felt that in my bones! The rest of the book helps you stop dividing by zero and start putting gas in the tank.

Action
I've never written a review about a book before. Well, maybe one, but it was very short. Anyway, this book, in my opinion, was informative and the author gave some great tactics and steps to, basically, getthings done in life. It is worth the buy and read.

Great tips on how to boost your energy
I enjoyed reading the book ‘Endless Energy’ by Peter Hollins. It is well-written, easy to read, and full of useful information. The book gives you detailed and practical tips on how to boost your energy through adequate nutrition, sleep, exercise, and positive social relationships. It also emphasizes how you can manage your energy so as to prevent its waste by factors described as energy vampires. In particular I like the author’s explanation on:- How to eliminate the paradox of choice by settling for the ‘good enough’ options- Why you shouldn’t wait for motivation before starting action on whatever you need to do, and- The pros and cons of too much dependence on coffee for your energyPeople looking for ways to improve their energy will certainly have a lot to gain from reading the book.

Eric’s 2-cents
A power-packed reading experience coming from a 58 yr-old who thinks he’s in his twenties (yet by noon each day is always reminded of the truth). The book, however, reads like a wannabe alchemists guide to making gold. Hollins provides numerous mind-blowing resets of new thinking to make ENERGY as part of your day, something more valuable than gold! May God bless you, Mr. Hollins, in your writing efforts. Keep your wisdom coming as you help realize what we are all meant to experience, His peace and power.

Just one little idea could change your life
I went into this book wondering if I already knew most of the info. However, I came away from the book with just the right ideas (and, more importantly, *actions!*) that will help me enormously in my work and my life. The idea that helped me the most was getting rid of endless decision-making during my work (which has been draining me) and learning to mechanize that process.Peter has a way of explaining things in a simple, illuminating way.You have to ask yourself if it's worth a few bucks for ideas that could change your life. No brainer.

Finally, the answers I've been looking for in one bundle of pages
I've read a lot of self-help books in my long life of 75 years (so far) and there would be tidbits here and there that sang to me, but this whole book was an opera of no-nonsense but kindly imparted messages that made me understand the issues set forth in the title. There are now new expectations, but moreso, a hope to change my ways, patterns, and dang-hard-to-get-rid of bad routinized habits. Unfortunately, I didn't read it fast enough to start the New Year on Day 1 with this new-found energy. I will have to be satisficed (not a misspelling but a "theory") with Day 2.

Lots of good tips all in one place
I bought this book while struggling for motivation. It does what it says. It's an easy read compiling lots of tips I've read elsewhere. For me, this book was kind of a reminder of all the things I knew I should be doing, but wasn't.There's a fresh way of looking at these techniques and explanations of how these techniques work.Certainly, this book has put me back on track.

A recap on common knowledge?
Difficult to see what distinguishes this book from so many others on the subject. Not sure I feel much/ any better off for having read it unfortunately.

Highly recommended
Well written and informative. Made me feel better about myself. I have learnt it's ok to take a break in order to perform better rather than keep running on "zero". Great read when you feel drained.

Leider unbefriedigend
