If you are looking to literally stop a dust problem for an intake fan or your lights this is your solution. Great product really is, my only problem the price. It probably cost 15 bucks to make one there selling them for 90 if you guys brought the cost down you would sell more of these no doubt.

I have two of these and they are wonderful with zero air flow resistance with perfect micro filtering just like a K n N air filter! No more pollen or dirty air in your intake. This will keep your fan exhaust clean so it blows pollutants out not in. This will help your allergies and keep your air filtered and your place clean.Super solid and durable material and design.Super easy clamp on for those wanting the optimal pure air flow.It does need periodic maintenance but it is to easy clean and oil again.The oil air filter is wet and comes in plastic bag fresh for install so handle it carefully and follow the instructions. You want to keep the oil sufficiently moist on the filter just like a K n N air filter.

At first i recieved a used filter that had been washed several times and re-oiled. You could obviously see that it was used and did not come sealed in a bag. So i sent it back and got a replacement. THIS time it was a brand new, it came sealed in a bag and was nicely oiled with a blue oil. Holding the new filter up to the light i couldnt see much light but a few speckles through it. The old and washed filter let 2-3x more light through than the new one. Which leads me to believe these filters will eventually wear out as most will. Overall the new one works well and and hasnt really gotten visibly dirty in the last 3 weeks if constant use. The old filter was letting through the powdery white dust from my ultrasonic humidifier, which i have since stopped using because of that reason. I havent noticed any small particles gathering on the glass of my air cooled reflector so thats a good sign that this filter is working. It needs to be cleaned and re-oiled every few months depending on use, you can use any organic oils that would be safe for your plants too.

Made very well. And by a reputable company called UNI. Comes pre lubed with odorless oil. Inside diameter 3 3/4, outside 4 1/4. The rubber gives quite a bit so anything from 3 5/8 to 4 1/8 should work.

Works great but after purchasing I learned that the "organic chemical" used is reported to now be carcinogenic...

I said I wanted a 6 inch not 8 inch and you were late and you want me to pay for it to be returned to you before I can get my money back and yet I am still spending money on your mistake. As far the product is put in a different box than shown in the description pictures. So I could tell it extremely thin plastic that looks like it is a fake imitation of the actual product. I will never be getting this on here again. And I pay for Prime account I don't know why.

I've been using this for under a month and so far it has been working really well. As for the CFM, I don't see very much lost with a 190 CFM fan, even on low fan setting. It comes to you already oiled very well. So if you are looking for a filter, this one would be the way to go. Also, I have attached a carbon filter on the other end of the ducting and still performs very well.
