CatEye Strada Slim CC-RW310W Cycling Computer

I was thinking about modern GPS or old style bike computer and decided to buy this one, because I don't want to charge batteries. I used before wireless and wired computers and they were good. All I need are speed and distance, maybe average speed as well. I installed it on a mountain bike with some customization, because I don't like how it looks when it installed on one side of handlebar. Sometimes I like to hold handlebar closer to steam due long flat rides. Used a double side tape to install it without rubber o-ring with 3M VHB double side tape and looks like I can remove o-ring on fork as well. It's looking slick now, I really like it. You can also buy a lot of different mounts, usually come with Cat Eye adapters. Some mounts combined with light etc. One of the really good feature is button, idea that you need to click on whole computer is brilliant, very easy to use in gloves. Good feature is possibility to hide some functions from view. If you don't need trip distance or clock for example, you can remove it. The only thing which I don't like is that you need to click on it when you start riding, but all wireless computers work in this way, sure this is because you need to wake up it from deep sleep mode.I'm editing my review after couple weeks. Be aware that some lights could make interference with wireless sensor. I found it happens with small magshine 400lm, especially on lowest levels. Looks like DC-DC convertor on these lights are not so good. But this not a computer issue.

Schön klein und kompakt. Gut ablesbar am Tag. Im Dunkeln sieht man leider null. Da würde eine kleine Hintergrundbeleuchtung helfen. Ansonsten mag ich es

This is a really great computer for bikes and easy to install.

I like the slim size, easy to read display, and works wirelessly. It fits nicely onto the handlebar stem and the wireless signal has worked flawlessly even thought its at the manufacturers recommended distance between sending unit and head unit The lack of a cadence function is not important to my riding style so for my needs works perfectly. The only function I wish it had was auto start as sometimes I forget to turn it on before I start out. Not a deal breaker but would be a nice feature to have.
