School Zone Math Basics Grade 1 Workbook

I'm so glad that I bought this for my son. He was homeschooling for kinder and he is willing through this book as he is learning each lesson.

Daughter was struggling with practical math-- coins, fractions, time, that sort of stuff.Snagged this because I was exhausted with trying to get her to grasp it the way her sister had.She zipped through it and is now throwing herself into the "big math 1-2" workbook.

My son is just getting ready to start kindergarten this fall but is already finished with this book. He is a typical kid that is at the age where he wants to learn all the time. We purchased a bunch of this series of books and he finished most of them within a week. Thats not to say that they are easy, he just sucked it up and wanted to move on. If your child is like mine, and is doing basic math and is reading a little, I would recommend these books but would also recommend having the second grade ones handy. Now if I could only find one of these books to excite him to clean his room.
