Gibson EliteLisbon Reactive Dinnerware Set, Cobalt Blue, Service for 4 (16pcs)

This set has an earthly beauty and simultaneously are very elegant. I love them. They are reasonably heavy and they look like good quality. I ordered two sets in order to have 8 pieces of each. Except for two bowls that arrived with cracks (see picture), all of the rest arrived in perfect condition. Just be cautious, if you have limited space in your cupboard or dishwasher, these are big dishes and wide bowls.

Got this set today! So happy! The color isn't exactly like the online photos, but they are really great looking - I actually like them better! I also ordered the aqua set, which should arrive tomorrow. I really liked how the photos on line incorporated both colors together. I feel the quality of the set is great and am happy I made this purchase.

So far the set is lasting without issue. It is style that is not for everyone.The set is thick and sturdy. There is a small discoloration on one of the bowls but nothing significant. Other than that, the glazing is fine.Dinner plates are great.Mugs - as with most sets, they never go bad. Which is good but I still have so many from various sets I have purchased in the past that I am doubting they will ever get worn out.The soup bowls are large enough to for having soup or chili as a meal. I agree it is too big for a morning breakfast cereal use but a bowl that size will not make a having a large bowl of soup. No bowl will do both well and I got what I needed.

This has become our new dinnerware set. We went back and ordered a second set of these so we could have eight of each type.The earthenwave has a beautiful pattern, including a fine-detail gorgeous texture in the beige center of each dish. Each piece has a firm, heavy heft to it without being so heavy as to fatigue the wrist. We can drag plates across each other without scraping or marking the surfaces in any way. They do not get too hot in the microwave.The plates and dishes are our new favorites, to the extent that we have phased out our old dishes. The mugs are honestly kind of meh - while pretty and matching, they're on the small side, and we are a giant-mug-loving family, so these little mugs don't get much use compared to our existing stable of giant mugs. But we LOVE these dishes.

Arrived quickly with no breakage! Saw some reviews where there were multiple broken dishes and was a little skeptical as to how well the dishes are packed or how sturdy they were. I ordered two sets for 8 servings, and all the pieces arrived in perfect condition. Ran them through the dishwasher before putting them away, they all held up great. The bowls are fairly large and all of them almost didn't fit in my dishwasher, but other than that they fit great in my cabinet, same with the dinner plates. They work well in the microwave. Unlike some dishes that get super hot before the food is even warm, these dishes can actually be handled after spending several minutes in the microwave. The red color is more like a burnt orange color, but that works well for my home. If you're looking for a truer red, this set might not be for you.

I saw reviews saying the color wasn’t correct, mine were exactly like they were pictured and even more beautiful. Someone mentioned a brown swirl…there is one, but it’s clearly the color of the clay coming through so it looks logical and appropriate. I have a white and black kitchen and they look great. I really can’t rate on durability since I just received them, but they are heavy and sturdy so I think they should be durable.

I love this set!! The bowl is almost the size of a pasta bowl, the coffee cups are a good size and fits perfectly in your hand and the salad and dinner plates are a good size but the COLOR!!! ❤😍 Much more than I expected! The "white" part looks almost like sand and there are green and speckled blue bands. I'm going to order another set for an eight piece setting. I'm very happy with it!

I've only had the set for a week, but I'm very happy with it. The deep blue color is attractive. The dishes are solid stoneware and a bit on the heavy side - these are not flimsy. Everything's a little larger than other sets I've had, especially the bowls - the bowls are huge, the size of a large soup or pasta bowl, so if you need smaller bowls you'll have to get them separately or get a different set. Luckily, I like large bowls. The cups are also large, and hold as much as a good-sized mug.We'll see how well they hold up over time, but on first impressions, the set is very attractive, sturdy and something I'll be happy to have my guests use.

I like the look and weight of this stoneware set. Beware, the dinner plate is a whopping 11 3/8” diameter. Check your cupboard depth before ordering :) I also have to lean the dinner plates in the dishwasher due to their size. The stoneware is heavy and the glazing effects are very nice. Lots of possibilities for adding other items into this set. I ordered 3 sets of this stoneware and my only disappointment was with 3 bowls in the third set I received. I have included a picture that shows how much lighter the 3 bowls are on the left as compared to my previous 2 sets (see bowl on right). I expect variations in colour with stoneware, that is part of its beauty, no piece is identical. However, it looks like substantial colour mix was missed on some bowls.

Very pleased with this set of dishes so far. They seem to be well made - thick and durable with a nice organic look. I have been using a mug, bowl and 2 sizes of plates daily for the past week since they arrived and really enjoy the quality. I am also pleased with how well and secure they were packed (without using much styrofoam). The whole set arrived in perfect condition.

We bought these and they were $208. Now they're almost half price. We had bought two sets so we would have 8 of everything. Multiple plates have cracked in the microwave despite being marketed as microwave safe. You cannot fine replacements online.

I really like these dishes. They are hand glazed and that makes each one a little different. They are thick heavy and are quite large. The bowls are more for Salad or a meal in a bowl like a Stew or Chilli. They are very wide and hold way too much to use for cornflakes or oatmeal. One thing to expect these dishes work out to about $5.00 or $6.00 each. They are hand done glazed and made with very good materials. So it seems where they saved the money was by not having a quality control inspection as about 80% of the dishes have a flaw of some kind or another. I bought two sets and (8 settings) and I may be able to peace together 2 sets without small imperfects such a a little hard dust bump, or a small spot where the edge touched something before being fired leaving a little light spot, all the way up to one mug that has a deformed rim that I only noticed when I tried to take a drink from it left handed. So if you like, or can handle the imperfections / charm of hand painted glaze and can live with minor imperfections that you will usually only notice if you are looking for them I would recommend these. Just remember there $5.00 plates not $20.00
