TymateTPMS Service Pack

Lost my original tool so purchased this kit when my monitor started beeping because of a low sensor battery. Purchased some good quality cr1632 replacement batteries for all the 4 sensors. This kit made the battery replacement fast and thankfully hassle free repair. Much better than having to purchase a new tire pressure monitoring system. All around a great purchase.

The actual product (I’m sure) works fine on one of the monitoring systems that it fits.But I can assure you it does not fit this certain one I bought.(Tymate TM8 Tire Pressure Monitoring System)Just wanted to save anybody else from having to return for this certain tire pressure monitor!

I purchased this TPMS service pack hoping it would work for our new-to-us travel trailer, which had Lippert Tire Linc. One of the batteries needed to be replaced, so I replaced all (4) batteries. I was glad to know that at least the plastic pieces allow you to take apart the sensors, allowing the TMPS sensor batteries to be replaced. I cannot speak on the extra pieces included in this set.

This service pack contains a tool that allowed me to change the battery in my (secondhand vehicle) TPMS tire monitors. Worked great and saved me from having to purchase a new after-market TPMS system.

My Tymate TPMS is about 2 years old now so it seemed like a good time to change the batteries and make sure the system was in good shape for an upcoming trip. I have the 6 sensor setup on a motorhome with rear dually tires so had to buy 2 of these kits as they don't offer a 6 sensor kit. No big deal, they're cheap enough. My only gripe after installing this kit and changing all the batteries was that it was very difficult to change the little seals that bear against the Schrader valve. They are solidly pressed down when the sensors are installed on the valve stems and defied efforts to remove them, finally had to dig them out with a tiny jeweler's screwdriver, the smallest one I had. The old seals were clearly worn out and needed to be refreshed so I did manage to change them out but it was a challenge. I tried blowing them out with compressed air - no luck. Cutting them with an X-Acto knife - no luck. The only thing that eventually worked was digging them out with the tiny screwdriver. I'm glad this is a once a year job, or once every two years.

I needed to change the batteries in my TPMS sensors and had lost the original tools. This kit fit perfectly and arrived quickly. Thanks!

Despite its advertised name "Tymate TPMS Service Pack", it is NOT universal with all Tymate TPMS sensors. Does not fit/work with the Tymate TM8. Now the hassle of return.
