Dietz#8 "Air Pilot" Replacement Globe

When I first purchased us I wasn’t and 100% sure if it would fit my old Dietz lantern but it did. Perfectly. I have an original lamp that’s nearly 80 years old. It fits perfectly. It’s unfortunate that if you are looking for old kerosene and oil lamps that a lot of them are in poor repair and have broken glass globes. In my case, my globe broke because it got overheated in a very windy situation and cracked. You can tell the difference between the old glass and the new glass. The old glass has imperfections and air bubbles in it. The new glass does not and seems to be better at enduring the heat from the flame. I would recommend this completely as a replacement for old lamps.

This globe replaces our broken globe in our Dietz #8 lantern perfectly--totally clear, no chips, perfect size, and just right.

Definitely thinner glass but fit fine.

Fragile (thin) glass - I broke one of them while cleaning the stickers off... but cheap enough it's not a big deal.

Fits properly and came in good condition. Recommend.
