Richbrook 4700.01 Twist-Off Back Tax Disc/Permit Holder, Silver Anodised

Nice bit of kit, easy to apply. Don't expect to be able to remove it later however - it's on for good.

Fits like a glove. Stays in place and looks neat. I use it to display my car park pass at work, and reminds me of the old tax discs.

I purchased this Richbrook silver twist off back tax disc holder to fit on the windscreen of my new car, this tax disc holder is good quality and really looks the part. With my car being a sport model this disk holder matches the car exactly, it is just unfortunate that tax disks are being phased out in the next few weeks.I don’t know what I will be doing with the holder once they are phased out, but I will probably leave it on with the original tax disk as supplied by the garage until the tax needs to be renewed and then decide, as it seems a shame as these tax disk holders enhance the look of the car.For anyone that is still looking for a quality tax disc holder I don’t think that you could do better than these Richbrook holders for quality and value for money.

Great tax disc holders, seem to of stuck well, a bit fiddly to install neatly but look great. My issue is I purchased 3 and all 3 were open and missing the curved spacers, luckily these weren’t required! Also some of the sticky dots were loose and stuck everywhere.

Goes with our new car as it is rather better than the usual flimsy ones.

It is the only thing I can get to stick to the flat windscreen of my 1930s car and to contain a replica period tax disc.

This is the second Richbrook Tax Disc Holder I have purchased for our residents parking permit (no tax discs needed anymore!).Pro's:1) Well made for what it is - alloy body with rivet type bits for the twist mechanism2) Has a clear plastic disc included to stop moisture getting to the inserted disc3) Comes with very strong sticky dots and an isopropyl alcohol wipe to clean the glass prior to applicationCons:1) Once stuck, its very hard to remove! Make sure you get it lined up properly prior to committing (when you twist the rear part on you will twist the disc so make allowances for this.As long as you just think through the installation, there will be no cons. Good purchase, better than the rubbishy sleeve type holders or the lick n sticks.

Fixing pads suppled was not the usual 3M ones, didn’t stay fixed to the inside of the windscreen after two attempts.
