Speed increased
Schwinn Assention 2022 MBThe bicycle came with a single front 30 Tooth sprocket. This part added more teeth! 52!It went from 17 mph. to 28 mph. with this part.In flat Florida there is absolutely no reason for such a small standard gear of only 30 teeth. This is a must have addition for this bicycle.I have the tools to make the switch of front crank sprockets, sold on amazon. You must buy a new chain for the switch of cranks. I used the full MB chain. You do not need a front crank derailer to use 52T sprocket gear unless of course you would like to.I use the original rear derailer,I have put around 500 miles on this part and have not had a problem with it. The average life span of these Mountain Bikes is about 4-5,000 miles before just about all the parts are worn out. Exempt; frame, pedals, and, handle bars, they seem to last forever. As far as wear and tear on the sprocket teeth after 500 miles, little wear.It is a good product. If it was $25.00 cheaper I would rate it 5 stars.Of course I give it 5 stars out of politeness.

Works perfectly!
I stalled this 3-ring 3-piece crank on a 1974 Schwinn Continental as part of a revitalization effort. I did a previous frame of the same make/model a number of years back. That bike has over 10k miles on it.I have a MEGA-RANGE cassette in the back. And with a kiddie cart bicycle trailer in-tow, I can climb out of the Alum Creek river valley in Westerville, Ohio loaded with 80 lbs. of groceries. The two highest gears never see any use. They're just too tall. The rear is 11-13-15-17-20-23-26-34T.So, I've bought and used two of these cranks. Needless to say, I'm happy with them.FYI, to get the 3-ring to work with a 3x front derailleur, I did need to go with a shorter bottom bracket sealed bearing. Then, I had to trim the crank's inner most mounting tab excess off... This was needed to avoid the crank from contacting the bottom bracket shell.

Great crankset
I bought this to increase my chainring set from a 24-34-42. I also wanted to increased resistance for a better workout and increase my speed. It was an easy installation. I needed to make a few minor adjustments on my bike and get a new chain to accommodate the larger chain rings. After installation & adjustments, it took me a couple weeks to get used to the new cranks but now my average pace got significantly better. I went to from a 4 min. 39 sec./mile pace down to 4 min./mile.

Great replacement on my trike - helping me get up hills
Got this to replace the crankset on my old Terra Trike Path trike. My original crankset was a single cog 46 tooth chainring and that didn't give me a low enough gear for climbing some hills near my home. I briefly experimented with a 53/39 crankset and that wasn't low enough either. This 50/39/30 gives me a low enough gear to get up the hills. My overall gear-inch range is now 15.5 inches to 85 inches. This seems to be working out pretty good for me so far.

The quality and finish are above average and given the very few choices of 30x39x50 triples with square taper BB this seems like
So far (less than 500 miles) and this crankset is performing as I had expected. The quality and finish are above average and given the very few choices of 30x39x50 triples with square taper BB this seems like a reasonable value given the price point. Prior to installation I did completely clean and wax the crank arms which facilitates clean-up after a muddy / gravel ride. The set includes plastic plugs to cover the crank bolts but the plug holes are threaded and will accept a standard crank bolt cover.

Glad I replaced my crankset
Chain was slipping with old crankset. This crankset was easy to install, with the correct tool, and made a long bike ride easier and no chain slipping.

Does not match pictures.
Looks totally different than the pic, very heavy, poorly made, cheap, chain always falls off, doesn't go on all the way. Rip off.

Shinano Quality and accessibility.... Thank You
Got so much more final speeds with this 50 tooth, intead of the original 42 tooth chainring on my Cannondale M300. And it looks so much better. Easy to install using the basic tools for the job, acquired from Amazon. If needed, the recommended Shimano Bottom Bracket is UN300 with a Square Taper of 103MM at the Shimano Site Page for the Tourney A073 7/8 speed Triple 30tx39tx50t Cranckset
