Q: What is the composition?

It is stainless steel with pocket clip. It is 4-5 inches long and maybe inch and a half wide. Very durable and sturdy. Have only ever used on tablecloth-covered tables.

Q: Where do the crumbs go?

On either on your hands or a plate and to the garbage can. Is this for real?

Q: will this work well on granite counter top?

It will work on any smooth flat surface, but usually used on tables with table cloths. A damp rag might be better for a quick clean on a granite counter top.
