ROCKY Men's Rkys053 Mid Calf Boot

Warm waterproof boot
These boots work well. I have used them for hunting only a couple of times now but seem to hold up well enough. I ordered a 13 but wear 12 because my feet always get cold and I wanted to still be able to throw on an extra layer of socks. I was worried at first that they would be too loose and floppy but while they were a little large they didn't seem to flop around or make me trip like I thought I might especially walking through a frozen cornfield in january. They are very comfortable and my feet did get cold a little but I adde a layer halfway through and was fine. The sides of the boot are pretty thin neoprene and I could imagine they would puncture easily enough.I did test these in my laundry tub to make sure they didn't leak. I filled the water up to the brim and wore my boots underwater for about 10 minutes and I didnt get a drop in there.Overall very happy with these boots, the bottom is pretty grippy and stiff. The insulation is think and comfortable and they aren't terribly heavy. I would buy again

Solid, reasonably priced insulated waterproof rubber boots.
Got an awesome deal on these boots that I couldn't resist. I couldn't bring myself to spending $160+ on a pair insulated muck brand boots. I've been buying Rocky bootsfor almost a decade now and have yet to be disappointed. Rocky has always made quality reasonably priced boots and these are no different. These are the warmest boots I've ever worn, and if I was blindfolded I would think I was wearing a pair of slip on Wellington style boots because they are so comfortable. I only wish these came in half sizes, but even going with a half size up they still fit well, and I couldn't be happier.

Warm boots
Bought size nine, had two pair of the same and loved them. Same model number size nine but too small fit. Lehigh website stated to “true to size” fit which I ignored. Factory must have new mold. Lehigh had new pair at home in five days no questions asked. Bootsare heavier than other brands but not excessive. I hunt in the Atchafalaya Basin and this boot gives me five years of service. Warm feet down to 17 degrees F.

Excellent boots, awesome price!!!
These boots are very comfortable and are plenty warm enough. I wore them hunting in the snow (temps averaged 26F or lower). I only wore 1 pair of thicker cotton socks and my feet stayed completely warm. I put them to the test, walking through snow, mud and icy water. My feet were comfortable, dry and warm. Excellent boots. They do run about a half size smaller than expected, but were fine for me. I you like to wear extra socks or get thick socks, I suggest going up a size. Other than that, these boots are perfect for the price.

Very pleased with this
My wife bought this for me for christmas. They keep my feet warm even in extreme cold while hunting. These are the best winter hunting boots I've ever had by a large margin. They are also surprisingly comfortable to walk in for over a mile.

Complete junk huge quality control issue
First of all I dont know even where to start on these boots...ive had a very good history with rocky and specifically these boots, ive had multiple pairs of these before...I would always get more than 1 season out of them...when I received these not looked out of the ordinary ( I always buy 2 pairs so if one gets wet or damp I can just wear the other pair)..anyways I traveled across the country to go on my usually month long trip shed hunting and mushroom hunting in the woods....so the first day wearing one pair they leaked like crazy from pretty much every seam...so the next day I wore the other pair..those leaked also but not as bad but by the end of the day the neoprene had all been ripped up so those boots were out of commission after the first use essentially, so I swapped back to the other pair...same problem the neoprene started falling apart, which had never happened before on my previous boots...so I ended up trying to repair them in the field with some shoe goo, that worked for a couple days but then didn't work no more...so then for the next 2 weeks I was forced to wear boots that leaked like crazy and had holes in them because thanks to covid I could not find any boots my size locally in the area I was at....long story short I had wet feet for the 3 weeks I was in the woods...I would steer clear of these boots with a 10ft pole...obviously rockys quality control has went down the drain or they must have had a massively defective batch of boots...its ashame that rocky sucks now because I've been using their boots for years and they've handled everything I've thrown at them but now I went threw 2 pairs of boots within a week.

Better than expected
I purchased these boots for use in every possible condition. From mucking out horse stalls, shoveling deep snow, wading through streams, and full-day hunting treks in winter. I was a little hesitant when I saw the price was considerably cheaper than most other places for a similar boot, along with a few negative reviews. I must say though, they definitely exceeded my expectations. They fit as I expected they would, no leaks even when wading through water just barely lower than the top of the boot. They aren't the warmEST boots I've ever owned, but with a good pair of socks they were definitely warm enough for the cold, snowy deer season we had this year. I did notice, as mentioned in a couple other reviews, that one of the boots seems... lumpy? Like the mold didn't set quite right or something? It has no effect on functionality and isn't even really noticeable, so it doesn't bother me in the least! I put them through the test these last few months with several long days hiking through steep and sometimes rocky terrain while deer hunting. Just this past week I spent half a day digging out from blizzard that dropped nearly 2 feet of snow and they held up just fine. Overall I am very glad I got this set of boots and I would 100% recommend them.

Great style, quality, value camo waterproof insulated boots
I JUST ADDED ANOTHER STAR to make it 5 STARS. These boots have exceeded my expectation. I live on 100+ acres in northern, MI and wear these boots every day to let my golden retriever flush out wild game birds, and do all sorts of chores on the property. I have worn out 3 pairs of Itasca boots, and so far these ROCKY boots are out preforming those, based on price, quality material, and comfort. I hope these ROCKY boots last 24 months, and I would order the same pair again.

Great buy!
Great boots, i took a size bigger than my shoes size. Last a few years with some abuse in the wood. It is my second pairs. I do a lots of waking in the woods for hunting on uneven ground and riding the ATV. With 1000 thinsulate they are warm late in the fall.
