HydroLink HydroLock Replacement Bite Valve

Great piece, fits perfectly.A little more on the expensive side but thats anything branded camelbak.

I ordered this to replace a torn bite valve on my Camelbak Hi-Viz pack, but the stem is too long for the quick connect shut-off assembly. The groves for the retention detent aren't aligned the same. It does fit my old camouflage pack, and the actual rubber bite valve in the assembly worked with my Hi-Viz pack, so I was able to use it. I wish I could have found just the replacement rubber bite valves, but for the price, this will do fine to replace what was actually damaged. If you need to replace the entire assembly, check to make sure the stem that goes in to the quick connect on the tube is 1" long. If you have a stem that measures 3/4" long like the Hi-Viz pack, it will not work, other than just being able to use the rubber part and not the plastic hardware.

Bought this to replace the standard valve on a generic bladder that didn't have a valve cover. This helps keep the valve from leaking water and helps keep it from picking up every small piece of sand and dirt along the way. I paired this with the Camelback 90512 conversion kit that has the On/Off flip switch. This clicks right into that kit after you get that part settled into the tube of your hydration pack.The cover can easily be removed one handed by a bit of thumb movement. I have large hands so that may be a plus. Others might not be able to.This bite valve is pre cut, and when pressure is let up on it, seems to spring back closed pretty good.Like I previously mentioned this clicks into a hydrolock kit which allows for easy removal for whatever reason you have.
