Did Thrival āBuild a Better Mousetrapā ā Absolutely, they did⦠without rival
Iāll be unconventional (where longer reviews are concerned) and begin by cutting-to-the chase⦠giving whomever may be reading this, the bottom-line review first ā then, afterwards, Iāll share a more long-winded breakdown, if interested. Firstly, if youāre thinking of purchasing this product for much of the pain you believe it alleviates ā (based on what youāve probably read, seen, or heard)⦠then, do it! You wonāt regret it! Itās worth what youāll spend (and then some). Without over-hyping each detail about it to you, Iāll summarize by saying: itās versatile, well-constructed, easy to use (with practice), and makes-good on what it claims to do ā which is: alleviating pain. For me⦠I can see where this will become an essential āpain managementā tool⦠among several others I use daily.I decided to wait on reviewing the Thrival until I had given myself the bare minimum of one week ā while working with it (daily) during that time. I conducted my due diligence and read up a bit on the Psoas region and the various core mobility flexors that are affected most directly from the formation (and now, by the release) of those areas most built-up with tension and inflammation. āAll-the-alarmsā began going off as I continued researching and connecting-the-dots between the pain Iād been feeling ā FOR YEARS ā and the listed symptoms for which the Thrival helps to relieve.Yes, there is, indeed, another Psoas release tool that is rather popular (and ābasicā), but you donāt have to be a physical therapist or a chiropractor to visually compare the two, if placed side-by-side, to easily determine which one is far superior. The adjustability of the Thrival provides a far more varied capability at easing the pain and tenseness ā not just in areas affected by the Psoas region ā but in so many more diverse places over the entire body. As an example ā the red āmeat grinderā attachments can be turned 180ā degrees, so that the curved ends face outwards on the board; thereby, hitting a different spot altogether. And thatās only ONE example of how diversely the set-up can be applied. Use the Thrival in conjunction with some yoga blocks to offset your bodyās own weight in order to take even more advantage of the versatileness that the Thrival board delivers on. Glutes, legs, neck, calves, ribs, backā⦠you get the idea.At the end-of-the-day, every buyer wants the same exact thing⦠and thatās to get the best bargain from what theyāre purchasing. It may be clichĆ©, but when someone comes along and ābuilds a better mousetrapā⦠then itās up to you (as the buyer) to determine whether the investment best serves what you need it to do⦠and just exactly how well it does just that. This was the best investment Iāve made in a long time.

Good but...could be improved. Suitable for atheltic experts.
A good purchase, a bit expensive. Not sure if the white fins were needed, the red ones ( called the meatgrinder) are more versatile, as sows in the company videos. You can play with this device in many positipns, but it's not so easy as they show you. You need extra bolsters, yoga blocks for your pelvis, limbs, head etc, otherwise it can be painful lying down impaled on those bouts of slippery hard plastic. It has the hight of a pillow, so it's very suitable for neck release, but too hight on its own, for other parts of the body ( back, lumbar). This means you need to contract a lot of muscles in order to maintain an arched position and avoid slippage, which is the opposite of muscle relaxation.... If you are an expert in trigger point release, if you know how to move and control your body, buy it. Otherwise, it might seem too expensive if your routime is just of few minutes a day. I bought it as an adjustable alternative to Pso rite. It is more stable, but also more clunky. You have to get up, move it whe you need to change positions. My product was a return. Some of the wrapping was missing on the grinder tips, which had scratches.

Very impressed by the versatility of this product to address many areas.
This product is very versatile! Itās allows you to loosen tension and ease pain in many areas of the body. I am a Therapeutic Massage Therapist. I specialize in pain and postural imbalances. This product is excellent for self care! I wasnāt sure it was going to be worth $100, but after using it the first time and addressing multiple right areas of my body, I knew I made the right choice with this purchase. I highly recommend this product! I like this the most to loosen my psoas, iliacus, glutes, ql, low back, neck, and calves. The easiest way to learn how to use this was to go on YouTube and follow Thrival Muscle Recovery. They have a bunch of videos that are quick and to the point, but very helpful and informative. Iām surprised at how sturdy the plastic pieces are. I think they have only cracked the surface with what this board could be capable of. They could easily come out with more attachments to continue to address other areas in different ways. To sum it up, if youāre thinking about getting this product, just do it. Watch the video on YouTube and follow along. This is a very effective tool if you use it properly!
