Fury: An Epic High Fantasy Adventure (Fuse Book 3)

A big disappointment
I don’t like multi-volume stories but I liked Fuse and since it was advertised as a trilogy, I continued with Ashe and even pre-payed for Fuse, listed as “the final installment of the Fuse Trilogy.” Once Fuse arrived I was disgusted to see “trilogy” changed to 4 volumes and as the author even states at the end of Fuse, “…don’t hold me to it (ending at volume 4).” All the great authors manage to tell a complete story in a single book yet today’s authors compelled to write ongoing soap operas, each with a cliff hanger ending to force you to read yet another incomplete book. The first three books are reasonably well written but the plot clearly slows down for what was supposed to be the final volume and sorry, it’s just not good enough that I’ll purchase a fourth volume especially if it will only be carried on to volume 5, 6, 7, etc.

When I thought is couldn’t get better…
Firstly, this series kicks serious @$$! I really love the character development and dimensions. Add in the inter character relations, solid plot line, dialog, and world building…. Well that alone makes for a good book. But then there is this special something that I can’t define, but elevates this to exceptional. I kept giggling listening to Flame’s comments. Ashe is the perfect pair for Cora, he is wise and regal to her youth and crassness. Callon is a total package of loyalty, fierceness, determination, and heart break. I really want to give him a hug. Hope in the next book Queen Devil, er um, Delwyn gets b slapped. Very nice to meet Cora’s dad. I think those two meeting was really cool. Lastly, can we get the web link for Mathilda’s shop? Please?

FURY, Fuse book 3
To tell the truth, I generally avoid reading books that are part of a series in which the last book is not available for a month or more from the time I first began reading the series. I also avoid reading books where one or more characters 'shift' into something else. For some reason these 'generalities' were not applicable in the FUSE Series case. After accidentally beginning book one (Fuse), I was 'drawn into the story and in the case of book two (Ashe) I was so caught up that the ending caught me completely off guard and I was totally unprepared for the ending. Fortunately, book three (Fury) was on hand to continue on, however, after finishing 'Fury' I now find that I must wait 6-8 months to find out what happens leaving me with an imaginative imagination of 'possibilities'. Dear me, how can I wait that long for the true ending. BUT, unfortunately , I must.

What an awesome series!
I have thoroughly enjoyed this book and both of the earlier ones. It is written so well, very fast paced but SO totally engrossing, I feel like i am in the characters world with them. Cannot wait for more! On the level of Lord of the Rings for sure! Please keep the story going for us, 10 books couldn't tell all we want to hear about coras world, dragons and her friends. I wholeheartedly agree that we need to see the glory of Flare fly across the movie screen! If Avatar came to life on the big screen this story should as well. Waiting on the edge of my seat for more!

Fury book 3
Reviewing a book is difficult thing for me to do, the books I read that I feel are successful reads ( and these books are) have become so because I've formed a relationship with the characters allowed them into my being, and love them.Cora is a strong loving elf who is on a journey to discover who she is and why. I admire her strength both emotionally and physically. I'm eager to find out what happens next for her, and the people and dragons who love and support her as Cora loves and supports her people and her dragons. Lets teach King Luz a thing or two, and remove Queen Selwyn from her throne.Thank you for the stories. E.L. Todd

Can't Be Mad
Before starting any series, regardless of genre, the first thing I do is check to be sure said series is complete. I am not a patient reader. If I finish a story and find that the next installment isn't immediately available, I'm much more likely to slam my device shut, mutter curses under my breath, cast aspersions on the author"s lineage and lie awake nights plotting his\ her torture. If you are of a similar nature, don' t be afraid to start this series before the next book is finished. Each story is better than the last. The characters become richer, the plot a little deeper and the emotions a little stronger as our heroine works to rebuild a broken society and create a sense of community where none previously existed.A lovely bit of escapism in a cutthroat world of political extremes where there seems to be no laying aside of personal agendas and egos for a common good.

read the the first three books in this series in 3 days
I really like the concept of this series. The big bad guy is a pretty terrible guy. The hero is solid in her foundation and she is surrounding herself with allies that will stand a long side her as they fight the king.Cora is strong and an all around decent person. She makes those around her better and she is steadfast in her beliefs. She is trying to make an alliance with dragons, elves, dwarves and humans and she is the only one that can do it.Be prepared to be confused with the dialogue in this one. So many dragons all mind speaking at the same time, they blend and almost sound like the same voice at times.I want to know the timeline a lot better. It is unclear and keeps touching on it but makes it even more fuzzy.

THANK YOU! I am blown away..
You know how when your reading an amazing story and when your at work or having to do other things,, you think about it.?.... That is these books...Ooo my these books are all the way. This series develops the relationships between the characters, who have become fused with me as real spots in my heart, its not rushed, slighted, nor cheapened. I am fully immersed on the journey of which must be fulfilled. Never disappointed in the stops along the way, you won't be either. The author has a dream to put this on the screen, and I am all in with that dream. E.L. Todd, I kept saying this to people as I've been reading OMG the cinematography alone. Not to mention, the story.Real issues, meets, fantasy, meets magic, wonder, and good old fashioned CHARACTER, which is in short supply these days. I am blown away, I am telling everyone who will listen. BRAVO.
