Don't do it!
I bought this one from Amazon, instead of the "lower quality" one from my local home improvement stores because it claimed to be "heavy duty." I needed to replace the existing one, which had sagged and become flaky and sticky after 4-5 years over our sliding glass doors. This one cost a bit more but I figured it would be worth it if it lasts longer.Right out of the box it looked great. It's got a larger "box" cross section than the cheaper ones and the tracks seem much less likely to sag over time and use. The carriage moved smoothly when I tried it out on the floor before installing it.Here's the problem:The clamps that hold it to the wall require you to turn a cam on the clamp to engage the rail. If you don't turn it hard enough, it's loose and falls out after a couple of uses. If you tighten the cams enough to hold it firm, IT BENDS THE RAIL, so that the carrier jams and the clips fall out. I spent 8 HOURS with pliers and screwdrivers bending the rails back into shape, reinstalling it, taking it back down, bending it some more, etc. until I got it so that it usually works most of the time and USUALLY does not require me to help the carriers along, and or reinstall the ones that pop out because the rail is bent. However, I have now been trained to help it over the bent spots at the clamps. My wife and kids still can't operate it.It's a crying shame that they take the effort and cost to make a superior track and then design a STUPID STUPID STUPID clamping mechanism that DESTROYS it the first time you install it.By the way, the flimsy one from my local store has much smarter clips that snap on all around the track and don't distort it. Sure it only lasted five years, but it worked perfectly when first installed and for the first three or four years. This one would probably last forever if it didn't self-destruct upon installation.Don't do it.

Works as expected.
To use this, you have to install 4-5 brackets in a straight line and get them even, but once that was done it wasn't hard to use. If you're hanging curtains, you'll have to put the hooks far enough down the pleat so the rod doesn't show. Adjust the height accordingly and don't make the mistake I did.

ordered the wrong pull.. needed a center draw .
called the manufacture and the person who answered the phone said "no problem", will send a return ticket to you... seemed so nice on the phone but.... last I heard from them.. time was up to return and I am stuck with a Venetian blind I cannot use. and the review I gave them has been removed... try another company update,. update Talked to amazon rep Bennie who said he would try to help,, He could not find where the order has disappeared to either.. He requested a review from the company. Stating i had talked to a rep in the a.llotted time frame... I did get an immediate response from the company. Very quickly,, Too bad times up. .. Go ahead. Your choice and good Luck

It works but the vendor not so much.
The small instruction sheet is very deficient. You should watch a You-tube video on how to install a traverse rod first as it should be very beneficial and save you a great deal of frustration and unwanted holes in the walls. Also, I will never order any product from the vendor Plumstruck again. Their shipping took forever and communication was sorely lacking.

Nice Product. As advertised
Package arrived on time and in good condition. I was pretty surprised with the directions. They were very good and easy to follow. The rod is very sturdy and works quite well. Comes with all the mounting hardware and installation went smoothly. Nice Product.

Need better instructions
The rod is heavy duty as advertised. The directions were incomplete and misleading. I emailed the vendor that I needed the right bracket and they replied 'there is no right bracket' but didn't explain that I should use a center support for the right side. I figured it out by going to other vendor's websites where they had how-to videos.

Traverse rod
It shipped quickly. I had a hard time installing it so the cord moved correctly and smoothly, it got twisted some how. It doesn't feel correct and hangs up on the expansion part. I just haven't had time to call customer service to get it operating properly. I must have dome something wrong
