Jimmy Zangwow's Out-Of-This-World Moon-Pie Adventure

This was a gift for a friend's grandson.My kids ❤ this book❣I would take it for their birthdays along with Moonpies as treats!!

My children's favorite book when they were littles. Now I've bought a copy for my Grandbaby. He's too little right now but it's a good one to have in a childhood library collection. I'm a former preK teacher and they loved this book as well. Get some moon pies and it's a fun time with a snack!

This is a really fun book especially if you have an adventerous boy at your house! We found this book at the library & decided we had to make it a member of our family because the main character Jimmy is one of my sons to the tee! It is a fun book about a little boy who likes to create, invent, dress up, imagine & have out of this world adventures- he also likes moon pies! In the end the day is saved by burping so if you are easily offended by bodily noises pass it up- otherwise enjoy! It also has lots of outrageous & fun to say words & phrases which make reading it outloud real fun! The content of the book is 5 stars! I gave it a 4 because I was a little disappointed in the size of this paperback version. After being introduced to the library copy this small book (stories to go) is a let down because this is a huge adventure with great illustrations & lots of little details to see so you really need a bigger size book to capture the full effect. On the other hand, the price is low.

One of our favorite kid's books! Pre-read it, so you can use fun voices for the Grimble Grinder and the Mars Men when you read it to your child! My kids loved it, and the kindergartenrs and older preschoolers at my child care center were totally enthralled when I read it to them. I even invented a recipe and made "brussels sprout noodle bean casserole" and served it to my kids, with Moon Pies for dessert, of course!

This book is wonderfully silly and BRILLIANTLY illustrated. It’s just beautiful. My boys loved it when they were little. I own a signed copy but got this one for a friend’s baby shower
