As said in title, they're narrow compared to the twist compression jaco style carts so snapping into mount brackets they will likely need a shim to be in same position.Also considering that it makes them in reality shorter than the aforementioned jaco style connectors, so depending on your RO instruction you may need to replace a few pieces of hose to make up for the length change.As far as functionality, so far (2 month in) they're just fine.It took a few gallons flow thru to get the TDS fines to completely rinse thru, but once that's done, water quality is dead on.I recommend them & will buy again, decent price for a good product

To bad they are so expensive. If they were cheaper, more people would replace them more often. They do the job.

I put this on the line before it goes into the fridge, only thing I had to buy was 2 little quick connect shut off valves so I could turn the water on and off super easy to install, change the filter, and run the first few gallons into a bucket to prime the new filter and flush it wayyyyy faster than the fridge alone.

I would live to give this more stars. Easy installation, water tastes filtered and clean. However, only 1 of 2 of the filters worked, I was lucky that the 1st one was the bad one. There was no pressure and it leaked.. The second one, I installed exactly the same as the first, worked great. Not a great value for money when only one works..

I live in NYC, which has clean water (unlike say Kansas City where I grew up with very hard calcified water)This says it lasts up to two years, I assumed 6-months because that’s more in line with other filters.But nothing could prepare me for this. I use it for a self-filling dog/cat water bowl. I noticed after maybe a month or two that when I ran water through this quickly, like after I cleaned the bowl and was refilling it, the the water had bubbles at the surface, like there was a tiny bit of dish soap in the water — and it smelled like sulfur. Anyway I regularly dumped out the first refill and it seemed ok after that. (Although I was worried). Then at about 5 months it started to disintegrate inside and little bits of paper came through into the water. It looked like if you fill up a bowl of water, add two pieces of toilet paper and mixed it with a KitchenAid mixer.This product should be removed from the shelves because it’s unsafe.

1st one leaked at connection, 2nd 1 sealed up luckily. I bought these almost a year ago so I cant return anything now. Ice maker seems to work fine off of it though. A little better QC at the manufacturer, and its a good product.
