The varying sizes are excellent for many different foods and platters. I use them all the time. Can be put in oven and microwave which is great.

I like these, I use them, but I get the feeling the wrong tap could crack it. I could be wrong. Smaller than I anticipated as well so I purchased another one which was much larger but these still are useful.

I've sometimes made creative uses of kitchen items for cooking. These serving platters are no exception. I had some slightly past expiration date pre-cooked bacon, and wanted to use it up. I had some wide pan oat nut bread so I figured I'd make a couple healthy sandwiches. My favorite for breakfast is either a ham, egg, cheese, or a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Often I use some six inch shallow flat bottom bowls for the egg. I spray with oil, scramble with a fork, season with salt and pepper, then cook in the microwave for about a minute. I get a nice round rising egg perfect for a sandwich. It melts the cheese slice it's on, pairs well with the toasted buttered bread, and meat. I decided to try something different, using the medium platter, I mixed two jumbo eggs in a two cup measuring pitcher. I scrambled them, seasoned them, and then used a bacon grease saturated paper towel to coat the medium platter. Poured the egg mixture on the greased platter, and put in the microwave for about 2 minutes. I was toasting buttered oat nut bread in my air oven, and removed two slices. I used a mitt to remove the hot platter from the microwave, and a small spatula to cut and scoop out two rectangular slices of perfect scrambled egg. I added slices of cheese, and the egg on top to melt, then the bacon I had microwaved to make crisp on top. A bit of mayo to coat the inside of the bread on top, and voila great breakfast sandwich.I could see making a flat cornbread loaf, a platter pizza or sub roll, or other things that rise. As platters although not very big they would do good to serve pound cake, sushi rolls, cookies, rolls or other pastries and if it's not to greasy or juicy, a nice meatloaf for salmon loaf. The platters are flawlessly glazed, and easy to clean, they can serve most anything hot or cold as long as it's not too liquid. Because of the rectangular shape, if preserving the leftovers, they are easily covered with cling or plastic wrap. Pull out the end of the roll, set the tray on it and extend over the top and cut the sheet long enough to gently fold under. I will use this with my next meatloaf I think. Real value at a low price for some nice porcelain serving trays. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. The box arrived VERY squashed! Even the air "pillows" were deflated! I've never scene anything like that before. But to my utter amazement, the platters were completely unharmed.The sizes are terrific and I can anticipate these platters will be used almost daily around my house. The specific attributes of being white, a nice geometric rectangle, low profile and devoid of any other marking make these platters perfect for every scenario!The only issue I will bring up is that the platters are hand made, and anything hand made will rarely be perfect. That doesn't mean that they are defective, just not perfect. Watch my attached video. Each platter is a little bit warped and doesn't sit on the counter evenly. Its not so much that it will make a difference in the use of it. The only issue is that they will rattle a bit while they are stacked or in storage. My "fix" for this is to simply lay a cloth or other padding in between the platters when storing them.I know I'll love using mine. I recommend them.

I really like this. It's so nice! I love the fact that it's a 3-piece set of different sizes that nest basically on top of each other. The different sizes include: Large: 12.75 x 6.97 inches, medium: 11 x 5.9 inches, and small: 10 x 5.2 inches. The Porcelain is excellent quality. I love the bright white color. They can really hold a lot and are perfect for dinner, tea, parties, and holiday get togethers. Such a great way to present beautiful food. I don't have any complaints to report! Overall I like and would also recommend it!
