I love these pens to use on painting rocks. You don't have to "prime" them and get a flood of ink to start them. They don't bleed through on my rocks. They are excellent. I was disappointed in the other brand I tried, had lots of bleeding and running. Not these! Worth the money. Probably won't use the brown color. Would have preferred a different color instead.

Faber-Castell is my fav brand to go to for brush pens. Many of the others are really hard to work with. These are fairly easy. I want all the pens and products that I can get of this company. They are a bit pricey and to get Faber-Castell I have to save a bit. They are well worth the price.

I love these and can imagine lots of illustrative uses. However, if you think they represent a progression of monochromatic tones, they aren't. There is more than one hue in this tonal "range." Still, they are nice to draw with. I gave them a four because I think this information should be included in any product descriptions as I suspect a lot of shoppers are disappointed. Also, what I am describing as an ideal is hard to achieve in any kind of marker product due to the mixing and separation of pigments in ink.I don't know why sheerness should be part of this review rating???

I learned about these marker/pens from a coloring book artist. She does live videos on Facebook coloring her own work using alcohol markers 90% of the time. During one video, she showed these India ink watercolor brush markers. I am so happy and satisfied with these markers that I am planning on buying the 60ct. set. They do not streak at all or wrinkle the paper that you use. These truly are the best set of watercolor brush(an actual brush!) markers that I own.

I got these for my wife as she de-stresses with adult coloring books. I wanted to get her something that would be good quality and maybe last longer than the cheap-o stuff she's been buying.For that use scenario, not worth the money. Way too high a price. They covered well enough, but didn't last any longer than the cheap-o stuff. Sorry Faber, for this you need to raise the bar.

I like Faber-Castell products and these are no exception, as they are very nice. I'm glad I bought this set.

These markers are heavenly. They don't bleed, they have rich color, and the brush tip is perfect for hard to reach areas but can also color slightly larger areas. I almost wish I didn't get this set because now I want the full 60 set!
