Trust: A Godly Woman's Adornment (On-the-Go Devotionals)

She helped me chapter by chapter ask the questions that were blocking my view. I don't have to do anything more than love God with all my heart and ask for his help in seeing the truth. My fear is lack of faith and I have a Father that is willing to help me walk through that ... I just have to remember always that he is good.

I went through this book when my husband was stationed in Iraq and it was just myself and our two young children. It was such a hard year in many ways, but God used this book to help me thrive through this trial in my life and to draw me closer to Him. I went through this book during that year and it refreshed me, helped me keep the right focus, and helped me be sufficient in my relationship Christ. And I learned that if I was trusting God, then I was also content and joyful. I am so thankful for this book and for how it helped me remember Biblical truths throughout that difficult year, and I have since bought four copies and handed them out to friends who are struggling with the issue of trusting God. It's my go-to for the issue of "trust".

Lydia is a fantastic author and gifted in words of encouragement and conviction. This book is a must for those that need refreshment in the truths of the Bible!

I reread it this summer and it was so good! I love that each entry is short, but also thought-provoking. Perfect for traveling when there's limited time or just a busy time of life. I also bought a second copy to give away to a friend.

Short daily reads. not overwhelming. She has a way of making you think, about your thinking. Encourages you with the truth of God's Word. Doesn't soft coat truth. Points towards hope.

This is an excellent book! SO helpful and hopeful and thoroughly biblical. I'm ordering numerous copies to give out for Christmas to my many close friends and family members who suffer needlessly from chronic anxiety. The book is full of short readings that can be quickly read as a daily reminder of who God is and why and how we can rest in Him.

There was a season of my life very recently that this devotional literally helped me survive.

This is a wonderful book, possibly the best devotional I've ever read. It's only small, and each devotion is only a page and a half in length, so perfect for on-the-go women. But despite being so short, each chapter is jam-packed with wisdom, encouragement and solid biblical advice. Trust is a real issue for so many of us; we so often give in to fear and anxiety instead of looking to God. The author looks honestly at these heart struggles and applies God’s Word to them. I found this so uplifting and encouraging, as well as convicting and challenging.The book's very inexpensive, so no excuses for not buying one. I've already bought of a couple of extra copies for giving to friends!

What an excellent, through provoking book studying trust. Each short chapter has been challenging and thought provoking. It's made me question the depth of my trust in God which in some situations can be not what I thought it might be.

A great little devotional that can be readily fitted into a busy life. Worth a read to draw you closer to God.
