The Monkey Hook Picture Hanger for Drywall & Sheetrock - 4 Hooks/pkg.

I find these preferable to the vintage nail and hanger for one principal reason: the accuracy of location. I am able to pinpoint the exact spot where the painting will hang. With the traditional type of hanger, the nail enters at an angle above the hook, and frequently I miss the mark. Result: several holes for one nail. My only reservation is the presence of a stud behind my mark. Then I must either relocate or revert to the older style hanger.

What a handy product to have available if you have Drywall. I first used a pair in the garage with a thin rope strung between the two of them to clip/hang my gardening gloves on. Then I used one to hang a 50 foot 1/4 inch watering hose for my indoor plants. At that point, I knew I needed to get more of these because I kept thinking of ways to use them.

The photo advertises that you receive 12 hooks, but I only received 4. I feel like it's very overpriced for only 4 hooks.

These are easy to install and have always worked for us.When I first got these (qvc) my Husband laughed, but after using them, he loves them.There easy and do work.We have hung big heavy museum framed pictures, and nothing has ever fallenoff the wall. We do use two for big pictures, or mirror.I would think from the other reviewer, they did not install these hooks all the way in the wall the right way.. My Husband is not handy, but using these are a no brainer once you get the hang of it, and follow directions , which are very easy.When I bought these there was 10 in the package, although I did pay more.I also think mine are made from a different Co.!Two thumbs up.

I used these to hang a 20lb framed mirror in my bathroom. I used 2 of them even though according to the weight limits one should have been enough. I actually trested them on another wall before hanging the mirror in my bathroom, and tested it with just one hook, and it did hold the mirror, but I am a better safe than sorry kind of girl, and since they're so cheap I just went ahead and used 2. They were so quick and easy to install, the whole process from measuring and leveling to hanging the mirror took a mere 5 minutes.

I bought this to hang a 27 lb mirror. After installing the hook, I carefully hung the mirror on it. After about ten seconds, the mirror crashed to the ground and the hook came out of the wall bent nearly straight. Now the mirror frame is chipped and the small print on the back states "no warranty is expressed or implied... refund limited to purchase price." What a piece of garbage!!
