If you think that this will stick and hold, on any textured surface of your dashboard for any length of time, you are in for disappointment. But, if you do find perfectly smooth area to attach the holder, you will like the result. The problem is that you will be choosing, not the most convenient place for the holder, but the one which might obscure the vision of the dashboard controls.I am still using it, but am looking for alternatives.

Had to stick on my windscreen and wouldn’t stick to dashboard

It sometimes falls down whilst driving. it also isn’t the most sturdyotherwise this, it’s a good product

The Dashboard Phone Holder by UGREEN is an excellent and well designed phone holder. It arrived promptly at my flat during the late afternoon and I couldn't wait to set it up for it’s intended use; As a phone holder on my workstation for Facial animation capture.▪Construction and Features 9/10The construction is a composite of PBS plastic and silicone rubber. The stand is light yet robust and easy to adjust with screw and ball pivots with a very secure suction base which really works well on my desk surface considering it’s texture wasn’t designed for it. When moving the ball joint or pivot the suction base remains firmly in place and there is no wobble or gradual drop once the weight of the phone is set in place. The quick release feature is a good addition, But I only wish it were possible to remove the backplate when the back of the phone rests as to accommodate phone grip holders or bulky cases.9/10I started using this today and it’s been working very well. The adjustability is perfect and when moving the holder to another position or place on my desk. When moving it’s placement, It did not change the how firmly the base held, Meaning this will indeed last a very long time. Even with the mentioned negative regarding the backplate, I would still highly recommend this purchase.

Purchased car phone holder October 2021, fitted to windscreen and never repositioned for use with phone.Today phone cradle started wobbling furiously with phone fitted, eventually falling off!Suction device still securely stuck to windscreen, but balljoint arm broken on pivot point! Very dissapointed as owned it for a little over 18 months!

It is a wonderful car phone holder with powerful suction, beautiful design and fantastic durability and flexibility, it’s really easy to install and I think it is all what you need to secure your phone in the car.

This is an honest review of this holder. From the start, I really liked the holder. It appeared well made and held the phone firmly in place. Sadly, it just dropped off and broke as I was driving along the other day and the phone and main section of the holder fell to the footwell and could have got caught under the pedals.The sticky section has welded itself to the screen, not entirely sure how I am going to remove it? I expected more than 7 months from the product, at the time of purchase it was priced mid range so not the cheapest.As you can see from the images, the internal parts are plastic and flimsy looking. I am not confident enough to buy the same brand as this appears cheaply made.The hunt for a replacement begins. Amazon Customer services first class as usual, refund for faulty goods no issue.
