Another great book by Keri Arthur
I’ve always liked Keri Arthur’s books and I’ve particularly enjoyed this series. Lizzie Grace is a great character with an tantalising backstory that is teased out in every book. Each one gives a little bit more of her life before life on the Reservation. This book has a new Registered Witch arriving to take care of the Reservation and Lizzie and Belle are surprised to see the new face is someone they know well. It is because of this introduction of this character that we are treated to more of Lizzie’s reasons for leaving her childhood home.In this book there is another evil critter killing people in horrible ways that Lizzie and Belle need to help destroy, but now they have the help of Ashworth and Eli, giving them magical aid as well as friendship. The new Registered Witch also has access to more information so they all start to form a team. There is a sense that the series is starting to build into something more than just Lizzie and Belle earning a living and making friends whilst fighting a bit of evil magic. Things are starting to come to a head and though nothing major gets resolved in that overall story arc, this stage of journey is just as enjoyable as always.

Another good installment, but just a teensy, tiny bit underwhelming
I was looking forward to this, and read it as soon as it was released. I enjoyed it… but I was ever so slightly underwhelmed. So I read it again to check... It’s shorter than the first two (book 1, 339 pages, book 2, 356, book 3, 308, this one 299) – not that that’s necessarily a problem, but it felt shorter, which I don’t remember thinking about book 3.There’s a nasty murderer in town, and as the synopsis says, the body count does indeed rise, and quickly. Some of the victims were moved over so quickly they added nothing, other than another number on the tally. Some were fleshed out, so we, the reader, cared about their deaths, but others? I can’t remember now if they were even all named. There’s lots of driving around – I know this is a rural area, but they spend a lot of time going places or waiting for others to arrive from other places. The denouement rang a lot of chimes from one of the earlier books, can’t remember which as I only re-read book 3 before this one, but there were strong similarities – I think. The other major story line is the arrival of the new reservation witch – which ***** MINOR SPOILER alert *****was a real damp squib after all the build up, especially with what then happens at the end.Lizzie’s affinity with the wild magic continues to develop, her prognostic skills play a major part of things here, her relationship with Aiden features, with both of them trying to guard their hearts against what both seem to think is the inevitable break up – but this is nicely drawn relationship. A lot of cake is eaten, we finally learn why Lizzie ran from her family, Belle lends sterling support and remains a strong character, the other supporting characters all do their bit, so all good stuff.I’ll certainly carry on reading this series – it’s well written by a skilled author who knows her trade, so there are no hitches, or silliness, or blips that spoil the flow, and don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this, and it took a second read well, so it isn't a bad book in any way, shape or form. Just, for me, a not-quite-so-good book.

Great storyline what an adventure.
Great continuation of Liz and Belles story. You find out the true reasons for their running away. Aiden and Liz get together but it’s a natural progression with the story line. There is always the threat of family members and her cousin Monte becomes the reservation witch. Thankfully, Liz gets on with him. Her growing use of wild magic intensifies and is becoming a part of her. She is always careful not too sully it with darkness and her visions.... looking forward to the next book.

Another winner
Lizzie Lizzie. I love her stories. I have read all of Keri Arthur's books, and never have been disappointed. I read as much as I could when it first came out last night. Then I finished when I got home tonight. It was that good. I love how it keeps me on my toes. Thrilling and exciting through the whole story. Thanks for another fun ride.

Loved it
Wow Keri Arthur once again has written a fantastic book, I loved it. Lizzie is a fun character to read and all the trouble she finds is hilarious. More questions about her past are answered, and you get to understand her fears for her future if her dreams come true. I do hope the next one will be available soon.
