The Darkest Lord (The Mysterium Series Book 3)

This trilogy kept me on my toes alternating between trying to grasp the multiverse of worlds that was created and keeping up with the storyline while at the same time thoroughly enjoying the humor of the writing.

This, the third volume, bring the story to a close. Thoroughly enjoyed it, staying up past my bedtime to finish.

A fun irreverent story. I love all the modern fantasy references thrown into the dialog.

Anyone who enjoys fantasy stories would love this series. The Dark Lord series has everything one could possibly want in a story.

Hmmm... it works well with the previous 2 books but I miss the fun RPG element that the first book of the series had and I'm not certain that our main character (and a couple of the secondary characters) came out if this series a very happy man (you decide - it was one of those strange endings) I still adored the 'real life narrator' element and there are many funny parts. I'd say it's worth the read but I won't be rereading it.
