Joe’s Syrup Organic Flavored Syrup, Organic Strawberry, 750 ml

Needs a different container
It's okay but it suppose to be refrigerated. So when it's cold it doesn't pour. Becomes useless in that particular bottle. My recommendation is to pour it all into a large mason jar so you can spoon it out.

Nice sweet cherry flavor without artificial colors, preservatives, gums and such.
It has a very good sweet cherry flavor, and I trust no artificial coloring. It says organic red color. Hopefully that's good. I use it with a can of name-brand lemon-lime soda, half a small lime (squeezed), and about 1 or 2 tbsp (I don't measure) of Joe's Cherry Syrup to make a cherry limeade just about like one of those big-chain burger restaurants. I use it in fruit smoothies with a banana and frozen pineapple, mango and/or cherries, and almond milk. I've put a little bit on waffles, not too much...tasted good to me. Some people claim it says to refrigerate after opening (or maybe that was a different flavor). I cannot find anywhere on the label for cherry syrup where it says to refrigerate. In fact, I refrigerated my 1st bottle because I thought it would be a good idea. Not a good idea. At low temperatures for prolonged times, the sugar crystalizes and separates out. I had to then shake the bottle to mix the crystals around and then heat the portion I was going to use to re-melt the sugar back into a syrup. Was just as good then. Now I just keep it on the cupboard shelf. At that temperature, it is thinner than typical "corn-syrup-based" pancake syrup. More like 100% pure maple syrup.

Mixed results from different flavors
I've tried three of the Joe's Organic syrups. The raspberry flavor one has a very strong cough syrupy taste out of the bottle and mixed with the soda water (I use it to make Italian sodas usually). The scent is even stronger. However if you add a bit of lime juice with the soda it does much to improve it. Having also mixed it with lemonade, the effect is much better, likely due to the offset of sweet with bitterness. The same comments can basically be made for the mango flavor. Good, not great. The best one, far and away, is the cherry flavoring. No cough syrupy smell, excellent flavor, not overpowering. This one stands great alone or mixed with a dash of lime in an Italian soda. It was the cherry flavor that introduced me to Joe's syrup to begin with, which is why I tried the raspberry and mango. I wish the other two flavors were as good as the cherry. If I could do individual reviews, I'd give the mango and raspberry 3 stars, and the cherry 5 stars. Therefore, I give the product as a whole 4 stars.

Outstanding flavors...
I recently picked up a Ninja coffee brewing system to replace my normal coffee pot. Then suggestions lead up to all these flavored syrups. I've always enjoyed a good java mocha, when I order a special coffee...but never can I find a coffee shop that uses 100% real coconut milk (and not some mix with carrageenan or other garb...or only other offering being skim milk or cream). With having such convenience with the new Ninja system, solution seems simple enough...make my own...So, I looked at all these suggestions given to me by amazon. My highest concern was organic/sustainable ingredients...no GMO's, made in the US (no beat sugar), no corn syrup, no chemicals, no artificial preservatives, sweeteners, colors, flavorings, etc... Joe's Syrup was found and selected.First one I picked out was this Organic Dutch Chocolate Dark Chocolate Sauce. I also got their Irish Cream (first order they accidentally shipped the Pure Sugar and I opened it, so I just reordered another Irish Cream and kept the Pure Sugar) & Hazelnut. All 4 flavors are very good, but my favorites are this dark chocolate and the Hazelnut. My daughter is more of an Irish Cream fan, and she loves it.My Java Mocha turns out to be perfection!!!! I love the flavor...a true dark chocolate that isn't too sweet. My "normal" everyday coffee is unsweetened with only coconut milk added. Special coffees I usually have only while out and about or during evenings, but on occasion. This Joe's syrup is so good, I find myself having a special coffee daily. lol --Not sure if that's good or bad, but it does eliminate my cravings for something sweet...it tastes so good and satisfying...the perfect beverage treat...and easily made better than a coffee shop.I'm also one who hates milk chocolate, but I enjoy hazelnut and chocolate together. --Nutella grosses me out and makes me nearly gag (never would try in coffee though)...but it's too sweet and the flavors of chocolate and hazelnut don't taste right for me. Joe's Syrup - Organic Dutch Chocolate Dark Chocolate Sauce and Organic Hazelnut taste divine together; especially with coconut milk added. Now, I can finally stop getting the organic flavored creamers for others in the house. I can't stand them, since they are too sweet, have milk/cream (I don't mind dairy, but I prefer coconut milk in coffee) and expire quickly. With Joe's Syrup, everyone is happy...we all can adjust the flavor, sweetness and add our own milk, cream or coconut milk to our coffees. No more waste. The Organic Dutch Chocolate Dark Chocolate Sauce must be put in the refrigerator after opened. It is a nice semi thick sauce. The BPA-free plastic bottle can be squeezed, and it's easy enough to not have too much sauce come out. I'm not going to attempt a pump on this one. This sauce can be used in coffee, on top of ice cream or for making hot cocoa. The other flavors: Organic Irish Cream, Organic Pure Sugar & Organic Hazelnut, are all syrups instead of "sauce", can be left out and easily used with a pump. After reading reviews, I picked up the Torani Syrup Pump - Torani Syrup Pump, 750 ML (Pack of 5) and these work perfectly with Joe's Syrup...no mess.I highly recommend Joe's Syrup; especially to those who want a delicious flavor with healthier ingredients. For those not into organic foods, I still recommend giving Joe's Syrup a try...more than likely, you won't go back to another...it's that good. You don't need a special brewing system to enjoy. I will definitely be buying more, and I can't wait to try other flavors...even outside of flavoring coffee.Edit: recently tried Organic Caramel too... another great flavor for coffee!! --With coconut milk (I prefer Chaokoh brand), the caramel is divine...perfect creamy caramel taste. This also tastes great with Joe's Dark Dutch Chocolate.

Copy-Cat seller/distributor. Beware!
Of the 3 flavored syrups I ordered off amazon I like this one the best BUT still not impressed. I like that it’s organic.. taste is off. Not good. Syrups should taste good right from the bottle if you taste test it. This needs to be “watered down” and blended with some other flavor to be drinkable. Alcoholic/sharp taste. I believe these amazon sellers are selling EXPIRED or COPIES of original coffee syrups. Beware! I have learned to order straight from the manufacture website not amazon. The taste is 100% better and so good. Amazon needs to preform better quality control on items being sold for consumption. Who knows what these people are putting in these syrups or what the true quality is. If you ever, even just once order from the actual companies website a syrup you will understand and be shocked. This specific item from this seller was not good, I will not buy a second time. I may not be able to finish the bottle even I will try because I paid for it. It’s just not good.

I have found some organic foods that are well priced and great tasting. These syrups fall into that category
I am not a member of the health food fringe. I generally don't bother with organic foods because of the high costs. I have found some organic foods that are well priced and great tasting. These syrups fall into that category. I love iced tea sweetened with Stevia. I add some mongo or peach to my tea. I find that they mix easily enough in cold tea. It is easier to mix it into the warm pitcher of tea before chilling. I will be purchasing some more today and some cherry if they have it here. The fact that these are organic is a great bonus.
