How refreshing to have a 40+ hero and a heroine. I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to read the next one. I can’t believe more authors in this genre don’t have older characters - they’re more interesting and more authentic. So well done to Ms Monroe…more please!

Fiona dealing with her marriage being over with the help of her great friend Simone meets Grant a great guy but with his own secrets. Fiona and Grant start an exclusive friends with benefits but soon it becomes more. Then Grant finds the biggest surprise of his life on his doorstep but with Fiona's help it brings them closer, until an incident that has Grant retreating and accusing Fiona at being at fault. Can they survive any of this. Fiona proved to be a strong woman who was going to survive with or without Grant . Thought Grant was cruel in the way he dealt with Fiona eventually he knew he was wrong but do did Fiona .

Fiona is starting over after her divorce and moves to a small town with her friend for a holiday. The cabin they are supposed to stay in is damaged and Grant tells them they can stay at his home. He is a bit of a grump but they agree. An opportunity gives Fiona a chance to actually stay in the town and each day she is with Grant there is a spark of something happening. Skinny dipping leads to Grant sleeping with her and they enjoy each others company. A shock meeting with ha daughter he didnt know about leads to him shutting Fiona out. Good story and good well written characters.

There were laughs a plenty, moments of sadness, strong main characters, and a cast of minor characters who added colour and life to the book. The resolution, which followed the believable plot line, seemed neither contrived nor unrealistic.

Wow...what a rollercoaster ride of emotions...laugh, happy, giggle and cry...oh the tears of joy and sadness then happy tears again. This is what you have when you read a Lillian Monroe book. A must read indeed.

Well what a boring, predictable book, I gave up on it half way through, the storyline is so thin, I was waiting for something gripping or unpredictable to happen, but in the end gave up, a tedious read.

Wow! Absolutely loved this book, great that the story was about a slightly older couple who had been broken previously & found love & could rebuild themselves with one another!

I really enjoyed reading this story. It made a nice change to have real adults. I'm looking forward to reading more.
