You can also record along with the music by pressing play and Record at the same time and use the microphone to sing along. Q: When it records your voice, can the recordings be transferred to a computer?

they can be if you buy one of the old ones that actually play and record on to REAL TAPES. i still have my recordings from when i was a kid and they’ll last forever! the new fake version that they sell now will not produce any recordings that will last forever unless you record what you’ve recorded with another microphone from another separate recording device.

NO, do not listen to the sellers. this is NOT a cassette player, it does NOT play cassettes. i had one as a kid that could play REAL tapes and i used it to record my favorite songs off MTV so i could listen to them whenever i wanted and i can still listen today. this product would not allow any type of functionality or actual usability. the recordings will not last forever. your kid can record themselves saying poop and laughing for a few seconds before you run out of recording time and have to clear it out to use it again. do you and your kid a favor and buy a REAL one that plays real cassettes and they will have something they can enjoy their entire life!
