Columbia Women's Arcadia II Jacket

Love this jacket! Fits perfect, and repels water! And what a great price! Lightweight but keeps you warm. Blocks the wind and rain. Everybody that works outside should buy one of these jackets! Worth every dollar! I bought a size medium.

I live in rural Alaska, a rainforest to be precise. So, imagine rain 280 days a year! I'm an active individual and I don't want the weather to dampen my day- yes, bad pun intended. I have a few different jackets and they were all lacking particular qualities that made adventuring in the wet wilderness less than ideal. I ordered this jacket knowing Columbia is usually pretty solid. I'm not disappointed. The fit is good. I ordered a medium. I'm 5'6" and about 155, fairly fit in shape. Medium is comfy with a shirt underneath and I have maneuverability still. The pockets are large and zippered; for reference I can carry a 9mm in my pocket while hiking. The hood comes down and tightens over my head well. I walked 2.5 miles in a steady rain today and my shirt was bone dry. The hood stayed in place during wind gusts as well. It sits slightly low which can cause a little vision blockage if you don't have your head held upward but that is me being nitpicky. Solid design and it will keep you dry. Warmth is moderate but I'm pretty acclimated to chilly weather so it's perfect for 40 to 50 degrees for me. I highly recommend.

This is a very nice rain jacket for a great price. I have worn it several times in the past few weeks and it is completely waterproof. The cut is slightly form-fitted, not boxy at all, in fact, I think it's very flattering. I am a size 6/8 and got a medium. I do have room for lighter weight, less bulky layers, but think I will use this jacket mostly spring through fall, on mild to warmer days, as I prefer longer coats for colder weather. If you do want to wear heavier or more layers, I suggest sizing up.

We were traveling through Greece in April and I needed to buy a very packable rain and wind jacket for the trip.This jacket with its sleek styling was ideal for the job. It's not super roomy so I wouldn't recommend it for layering sweaters or sweat shirts underneath, but great for wind and rain.

Bought this for my wife before a trip to New Zealand, I wanted her to have some flexibility and water resistance as we traveled through different climates. She commented several times during our trip that it was a great purchase and she loved it so much because it wasn't too hot (it was late Summer/early Autumn when we went) and still cut the wind well. This jacket is definitely worth the cost for quality and durability.I purchased this along with some other options and the quality was apparent right out the bag as one of the other cheaper options fell apart when I handed it to her.

Fit was great, like my jacket fitted with some thin layers and this is going to be perfect for Ireland in the spring. The hood is great. If there could be a change to the jacket it would be the elastic and how it would be adjusted because it's not intuitive or convenient, it will take some getting used to. Other than that the jacket will fulfill the purpose, which is keep me dry.

It is a well made product that looks very good, however, the medium was just an inch too snug for my size 12 and a large would be overwhelming.

Fits well and looks great, well made for the money paid. My few gripes are that it lacks a couple of features, like hood volume adjustment, usually done with a velcro strap on the top. There are no inside pockets like I had on my Jack Wolfskin packable, just a vertical drop pocket for papers etc to keep them dry would be good. Otherwise it feels very comfortable and gives a smart professional appearance in Columbia blue.

La calidad es buena, el corte lindo, sin embargo viene estrecha de los hombros, con respecto a otras chamarras que tengo de la misma marca talla CH , yo la pedí una talla más M pensando en llevar abajo una blusa o suéter delgado ya que es rompe vientos, me queda un poco justa.Azul marino color muy combinable , perfecta para viajar .

Excelente calidad, solo la talla es un poco más grande de lo que se menciona.Pedí M, pero creo que la talla correcta sería una CH.
