Q: Can you harden this clay with heat gun?

of course you can. i wouldn't recommend it to beginners as there is a bit of a learning curve but it is possible and helps me to get an even better amount of translucency when done correctly.

Q: Can this be cut with a saw after it dries, without chipping or flaking?

After it is fired it can be shaped. A fine blade saw will minimize chipping

Q: is it possible to pour wax into the mold that is made of your poly clay?

If you have baked the clay, it should work. However, once the clay is baked, it is pretty solid so it won't really bend to clean out the mold. There is a poly clay that is bendable, and it might work better for molds. I hope this helps you.
