I have two other sets of escargot dishes. One has the "onion soup bowel" handle and is hollow with a breathing hole so dishwater can get into the inside cavity - not good!. They will now go to the garbage. My second set is close to this one but has smaller recesses for the escargot and that's okay for escargot only but they can't be used for stuffed mushrooms as an alternate dish which I can't imagine if you like escargot you would be opposed to, so they will be thrown away also.I have four of these and trust me.... they will get plenty of use in my Snowbird group in Yuma.If you buy some of these and you do not like them (can't imagine that), attach a reply to this and I will buy them off you for a slightly reduced price or hey! maybe you would like a set of my other ones in trade?This is a "can't go wrong" purchase.

Perfect-Great Value
These little forks are perfect for Escargot or Shrimp Cocktail. They are lightweight, clean up easily and easy to handle. Perfect and a great value too!

Double charged for broken and returned item
The plate arrived broken. I returned it with correct label as directed. And I was charged for it also.Do not buy from this company! So, no, it is not giftable and was definitely not worth what it cost! Do not buy from this company!!!

A quality product at a decent price.
This escargot plate is very simple, but it’s well-made and looks good. The individual slots are large enough that you can easily double up on escargot in each one. There’s nothing fancy about them, they’re just plain white, but they are a good base for the wow-factor that is escargot. It’s very easy to clean, takes up no room in the cupboard, and does exactly what it’s supoosed to do. That’s a winner in my books.

What a great find!
Looked around for some deep welled escargot plates to celebrate with for the holidays. I bought 4 of these to use and I have to say that I love them. The wells are deep enough for large shells and the plates have a nice sleek contemporary white design to complement any special occasion. When we were finished, I popped them in the dishwasher and they came completely clean. Recommend to others looking for nice quality escargot plates without breaking the bank (~$9.10 each)
