California Poppy Alcohol-Free Liquid Extract, California Poppy (Eschscholzia Californica) Seeds Glycerite Herbal Supplement 2 oz

WE use this for one dog for his separation anxiety. It definitely makes a difference but doesn't solve all his problems. Just dulls the overall reaction. We also use it for our 15 yr old lab because her arthritis really bothers her. She seems to move better on the days we give it to her.

I used this for pain relief for my very elderly little dog, who has since passed away. I am very glad to have found it. (California Poppy extract was recommended by my Holistic Vet, and I couldn't find any locally, so especially glad.) It made her last weeks better. This is a good value for a quality extract.

I bought this because it’s supposed to help ease pain but I didn’t really notice a difference. I drank 1/4 of the bottle and didn’t notice any effect. Maybe it’s just me or I got a weak batch? This brand is usually very reputable.

I would have liked a gel pill but this is great!

Helps me sleep through the night ALMOST as well as Z-Quil. No weird alcohol taste like the other extracts I use.

I also read about this in a health magazine and thought I'd try it. I've been waking up every 1 to 1 1/2 hours and could not sleep through the night. Completely exhausted every day. Had tried melatonin, even a doctor prescribed sleeping pill (that did not work at all) and so tried this, anything to get a decent night's sleep. The first night I put 10 drops in a cup of tea (that was the amount listed in the article, I did not see any recommended amount on the product) and slept 9 hours. Woke up refreshed and alert for the first time in over a year. Been taking it for two weeks now and it's working great. Highly recommend!!

It doesn't make me fall asleep - BUT I sleep more deeply, soundly, and when I get up in the middle of the night to go... I am finally able to go right back to sleep - no tossing and turning! I don't like the alcohol version at all - but the glycerine based product has a nice taste and does the job! I have bought it before and will continue to take this every night before bed. Another plus - no drug hangover in the morning!

It is a very good product if you must avoid alcohol. However, glycerin is an inferior extractor of herbal essences compared to alcohol. By chemical properties, it is simply a weaker extract. It's a pro and con choice, but it is a good product.
