It's not perfect, but for a non vehicle specific, one size fits all theft deterrent system, it really looks like a pain in the arse to get off when it's locked in place. The metal is 1/4" or so thick, and the way it sits in my car it would be difficult to saw off without power tools or a torch. It takes a minute or two to set up, same to remove, so I only use it when I need to. It has a solid lock that slots in to lock everything in place. I could see how this wouldn't work on some cars depending how the footwell is shaped & brake pedal design, but for my old Yota 4X4 it works great.

Good tool

I like it way better than the "club" style one I just tossed. It is at least half the weight and one third the bulk. Specs claim 2.16 lb. but feels heavier. Easy to install once you learn. Most importantly it seems way more difficult to pick. It has key design unseen by me before now. I gave it a 4 due to it still being pretty heavy but much better than the club style. I use it on my clutch.

These really kick ass for the money. The lock sits down low and is hard for thieves to tamper with.

This won't keep your car from getting stolen, but it could mean slowing the thief down enough so that they get caught. I have an old 68 Mustang Fastback and this wraps perfectly around the clutch. I'm able to lay the floor mat on it so that the floor mat fits between the locking device and the pedal so that thieves cannot see it when they look inside the car through the window(s).

Neat idea but did not work at all. I installed it as the picture shows and I was able to just lift it back so it as loose.

Very difficult to install on brake or clutch pedal you have a very hard time trying to get the key in the Lock to lock it and unlock it, plus you have to go underneath to install it just didn't work. I had to get The Club CL606 lock brake, it seems to work better than this.
