I am using this product for outside tasks, yard work, etc...Florida humidity makes summer heat feel even hotter than the actual temperature. So far, this fan is exactly what I expected. I do wear my hair up while doing outside work, so I can't speak to whether or not it catches hair. Depending on what time of day it is, the knats/nats/"no-see-ums" can be flying around as well and I think this fan will help with that issue as well. Constructive feedback - I think the vents need to go a little further back towards the back of the neck. I knew they didn't when I bought it. That is not a reflection on the current model, my purchase, etc...Just a piece of advice for future versions. I would also be interested in a version I can wrap around my ankles and do work in - specifically to keep mosquitoes and bugs from biting my legs. It would work for that.

I'm really impressed with how well this thing works. Outside doing yardwork or going for walk or bike ride on a hot day, it makes a huge difference in how long you are able to stay out in the heat. Battery lasts for at least 2 hours on the low setting. I have not had any reason to use the highest setting yet so I can't comment on that.One thing I noticed though is that the battery seems to discharge even when you're not using the device. If you don't leave it on the charger right up until it's time for use, you may find that the battery won't last or the thing may not even turn on at all. It could just be my unit but I don't know.

I gave these as gifts to about 7 people and all of them love these fans and use it. I love mine it goes everywhere with me because I get hot flashes all the time. A great thing we found too living in the south is they keep the gnats from your face! 💕 😊 Great with hot summers we have in the south. The men use while working outside and they said the battery time could be longer than 2 hours non stop but I say that's just letting them know they need to take a break lol. But for me I turn on only when really hot and mine lasts all day. I have yet to find any that run all day non stop. And these sit comfortably on my neck. I love that it's rechargeable. I've had for almost a year now and it's still holding up. I'd buy it again.

I am 52 and run hot most of the time, but it gets so hot here in the TX Summers I bought it to wear while walking my dogs. It is AWESOME!! It's very lightweight - it doesn't bother my neck at all - kind of looks like you're wearing headphones. It has 3 speeds. The 3rd speed it the fastest and it blows good air! Even on low it's a good breeze. And it's really not warm air - it seems cool. I don't think it's that loud on the 3rd speed that you couldn't hear a car coming. I haven't tested it out outside, so I'll write another review later on that. And also about the battery life. I charged it all night here at work and have been using it here in our building because the temp fluctuates. Will write later on how long the battery lasts for me. All in all, I am SO happy with this product! For $20 it works wonders!!

Bought this fan to use on my walks this summer. Nebraska gets some very hot and humid summer days! The breeze it creates around my neck and face really helps me not completely melt on the high humidity days! A little noisy but I listen to music via my AirPods while I’m walking anyhow so the noise of the fan doesn’t disturb that. I walked several days, each walk over an hour and the charge lasted great. When it ran out of charge 1/2 through my last walk I can tell you I missed it the last half of my walk, I was much sweating more than usual! I like it so much I just ordered 4 more as gifts for friends and family!Update July 9th….my fan stopped working for no reason and couldn’t be happier, did a return on Amazon and they shipped me another one at no charge right away! Great customer service! Replacement is working great!

I was pleased that it actually generates "cool" air, and surprised at the refreshing sensation it imparts. Other nice things are that there are speed adjustments and it is lightweight. I wear it around the house when I am doing my housecleaning and it does a good job of keeping me cool. My only concerns are that the battery takes a long time to recharge and with all the movement I do, it slips around my neck a bit. I have rigged up a band to hold it in place. All in all, and for the price, I would recommend it.

I used this 3 times last year, I store it in a cool dry place in my house, I went to use it this year, and it doesn’t work. This won’t last you mores than 3months don’t buy! This is so upsetting that I have to throw all this in the Mansfield just because it’s made with cheap batteries!

I purchased this fan after reading the reviews and it is just as described. I love that it has 3 speeds, I purchased it to take to the Taste of Addison but it did not get to me until after that however I used it on my 45 min walks on my lunch break at work and it worked wonders as it was 90 degrees out the wind was blowing outside as well but I could still feel the fan on 2nd speed. Everyone at my place of business was wanting one. No need to be on the fence about this fan, I usually do not do reviews but everyone should know that this fan is spectacular. I love it!

The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely love my neck fan. It was a muggy day yesterday when it arrived. I took it out of the package and switch it in right away. Within a few seconds my face cooled down which meant that my body would cool itself. It will also be useful during times of hot sweats due to ladies problems. It’s definitely worth buying.

I am a coach driver and suffer with dry eyes so was looking for a fan to use now the weather is getting hotter (and unfortunately do not have air conditioning in the vehicle I drive). I was reluctant to get a portable clip on fan that blows directly at you as it would make my dry eyes worse. I was about to give up my search when I came across this portable neck fan.I thought I have nothing to loose and everything to gain so ordered one. It’s very lightweight, very quiet in use and is effective at keeping me cool. With the sun belting through the windscreen it’s been a real help.Highly recommended. What have you got to loose ? I bought one of these fan a month or so ago, and my partner has been using it whenever he can get his hands on it, ever since, so I have bought this new one. These neck fans are such a good idea, comfortable to wear, and completely wireless when charged.They are basically a soft bendy band that fits around the neck with powerful, but fairly quiet fans at the open ends and the sides. The fans blow cool air onto the face and neck, the parts that always seem to get overheated, keeping me feeling chilled.Run on a rechargeable battery which didn't seem to take long to charge; you then get hours of this gentle, or more powerful breeze blowing under the hair and around the front of the neck.Obviously as they are fans, there is a little noise, but nothing that disturbs you when exercising, or just reading a book, watching TV, or using a computer. Instead of feeling overheated, I feel the cool, fresh air, which actually seems to cool down the whole body.The neck fan is only lightweight, and the bendy centre band, ensuring we can shape it comfortably into the correct position.I think it would be great when travelling, especially on a plane, which I always feel overheated on, or even when walking about in the hot weather. They are certainly more convenient than a handheld fan; I'm so pleased I found these neck fans, great for the hotter weatherThis one I bought is black in colour; simple touch button controls on the lower end, with two settings; a great buy, recommended.

Just came home after a long sweaty walk (from the dentist) on a rare sunny May afternoon. There waiting in the hallway was my amazon package - hanging neck fan. So out of the box it came and slipped it around my neck and slumped on the sofa. It certainly did the trick! Instant cooling.Well worth it, felt much more comfortableI read the instructions whilst wearing my new "necklace" and realised I was supposed to charge it for 2 hours before use. Ah well it did the job before the battery went.My sister who suffers from hot flushes (menopausal) used it and really loved it ..much better than sitting in front of a fan. As its mobile she can get on with other things whilst wearing MY neck fan. I sent her the amazon link to get her own one.I would recommend the fan especially for those who suffer from hot flushes and who, like me, get all hot and bothered in the heat.
