Hey guys, I bought this to get rid of a moth problem around my entrances and it works on contact! I sprayed it around my entrances where there were just a boom of moths this summer. So many moths kept accidentally getting into the house and I was sick of it. The spray option has a wet spray which is more product per spray and a mist. I used both, applied the product, and instantly the moths were running for cover!That being said I have a kitty in the house whom I love dearly and I definitely wanted it to be safe for him as well. I read on the site that this product is made with a specific species of cedar that is not toxic because A it’s utilizing that oil from a specific non toxic species and B it doesn’t contain phenols! Phenols is what makes sprays and oils especially toxic to cats since they can’t metabolize them. I feel really confident about the product! As another reviewer said if you want to use this on your kitty I’d not spray directly but wipe on sparingly. Although I didn’t buy this for my cat I am still giving it a great review because it is being used around my cats living quarters. Also, I love the added benefit that it deters other critters besides moths! The product doesn’t say it specifically is formulated against moths but I had previously looked up what deters moth and cedar is one! So the more you know.

The product works excellently, but the nozzle on this bottle "froze" up right in the middle of using it. This is expensive stuff, so having to waste it by POURING it (instead of spraying it) on the ants was infuriating. They need a better sprayer for their product. My advise would be to buy the refill Cedarcide and buy your own spray bottle from someone else.

We live in Iowa where ticks are BAD (photo is from a time in Colorado). Our dog still gets traditional flea and tick medication, but the oral pill doesn't kill the bug until it actually bites and it doesn't repel them. After we started using this on the dogs AND humans when out at the farm, there was a noticeable difference in how many ticks we found. We even did a comparison by putting it on our dog and not our family's dog. Theirs came home with 20 ticks, ours came home with 5. It's not perfect, but it's a game changer where we live! I don't particularly love the smell (and neither does our dog) but I like it better than bugs!

Hopefully this stuff works because it's not cheap , I bought the small bottle just in case it doesn't. Still $30 plus dollars is a lot for the size bottle. Our 2 cat's and 1 dog have a bad flea infestation and nothing has worked , we tried a few different brands and nothing. Just applied it to my German Shepherd because he's scratching and biting the crap out of himself so bad that he's caused his fur to come off in spots from biting himself to the skin. I will update if it works or not , only applied it a half hour ago so we'll see 🤞 update 11/16/24 tried using this several times like directions said , it had no affect at all. Did not stop the fleas and my dog continued to chew himself right after I applied this. I coated his body in it and used a cloth to work it in , then sprayed an additional coating. It didn't work and was a waste of money!!!

When it comes to looking for something safe/natural that works it's been almost impossible!!! Nexgard killed 1 of our Dogs & FrontLine, I've been having to use a vial for a large 80 pound dog on my 20 pound dog and it still doesn't touch the fleas... we have also used Seresto collars, which are very pricey and they don't work either... Up to this point I had found nothing that actually worked until I Discovered Cedarcide. OMG, it will kill the fleas that your dog or cat may have on them very quickly and the fleas are not coming back...and best of all its SAFE!!! I am not necessarily a fan of the scent of cedar but because it works so incredibly well, I can deal with the scent!I'm only spraying it on my hand and wiping it on the top of the head and the neck of my cat and down her back where she can't reach it because its still cedar and she doesnt need to ingest that and I'm spraying it on my dogs just like I would put frontline down their back and I do put a little on my hand and put it on their legs and their belly ... I'm only having to do it once a week. Obviously I don't know for a fact it's keeping the Mosquitoes away but bugs in general don't like the smell of Cedar and we don't have ticks but I will not ever use another poison on my dogs or cats again? I will literally not ever be without a bottle and because it takes so little, one bottle should last several months if not longer...well worth checking it out!

I received this. I opened the bottle and placed the sprayer on top. Picked it up to use and the bottle fell off spilling the liquid out. Was able to grab it quickly and replaced the sprayer on again. Making sure it was on correctly. I sprayed the nozzle and again it came apart. I looked at the bottle and noticed th here were very few threads. Inferior quality of this product is evident. After the second attempt most of the product was on the ground. So I’m unable to review the actual product because there was none left to try! This is not a user error. It is a product malfunction. Don’t waste your money. You’ll never actually get to use it. Run. Avoid. Save yourself the headache.
