Curling rod is too thin, but love the silk
I purchased knock off heatless curls on Amazon and loved the curls, but wanted silk. I researched and these ones are the only ones that are 100% silk. The heatless curls from this style of curler are gorgeous. Unfortunately, I can't decide if I'm going to keep the silk one or return it. The rod is so thin so the curls are tighter than I prefer. I love big loose curls and this brand only does tight curls. My daughter and I both have knock offs from Amazon and their rod is the perfect size and gives just the right size curls. My knock off curler has a terrible fabric that makes my hair frizzy. My daughter's is a satin and it doesn't make my hair frizzy. I'm so torn. The Klara Faire heatless curls have some major pros....1. 100% high quality silk2. The rod has some type of wire in it so I can turn my hair up and shower without struggling to keep my hair dry.3. The ability to shape the rod makes it more comfortable to sleep in than the knock off because I can tuck it behind my ears.Cons1. The rod is waaayyyy too thin. I might use the satin knock off because the looser curls look so much better than tighter ones (see pic for rod size differences). The curls with this curler are still pretty, but I prefer the looser curls. The knock offs have the size right.2. There is a tag on the curling rod about 5 inches from the bottom (see pic). The best way to take this style of curler out is by pulling up and the hair slides off. The tag is in a terrible location. It catches on all of the hair wrapped on that side of the curler. The best location for the tag would be where the clip goes on the top or going straight down from the end of the rod so it doesn't catch any hair. The Klara Faire heatless curls would be perfect with a thicker rod and better tag placement. Maybe offering the curls in different sizes would be a good idea. There is one pro to the smaller rod. I wash my hair about once a week and live off of batiste dry shampoo the others. On my wash day I put a little sea salt texture spray in my hair and get it slightly damp. I wrap/braid my hair around the rod and go to sleep. Because the rod is smaller, the curls are tighter/smaller. The following nights I wrap/braid my hair dry and still have great curls the next day.The pixilated pic is my hair in the evening so they were looser than the first half of the day. The clear pic shows how the curls are in the morning. My hair is very fine and stick straight... when I let it air-dry it looks like its been straightened. I have a lot of hair, but it's fine and lifeless. It is incredible how much volume my hair has with this heatless curler. No extensions so I don't know how it works with extensions. If the rod were the same size as the knock offs I would give this product 5 stars.I added pics of my curls with the Amazon knockoff heatless curler. The thicker curler gives the curls I want, but this curler has the silk. Please make a thicker silk curler!

Need some more practice
Worked really well on my 11 year old. She said it took some getting used to when it came to sleeping in them. Need to try a different technique to really get the back of her hair just as curly though.

Excellent results and quality!!
I really love this hair curler. I’ve used it for a few months now regularly and would recommend it to everyone in the market for one. I feel the silk is really durable and won’t fray/wear out like some satin ones do. My only recommendation change for this product is the tag. I just don’t like wrapping my hair around the brand label tag. I didnt like the harsh tag material where I wrap the ends of my hair. I could cut it off to solve my fuss, but that’s my one and only “critique”. I do love this product and am super pleased!!

It does what it says it does!
Okay, so this does curl your (damp) hair. If you wrap your hair around this, while your hair is damp, secure the ends, and sleep on it, it will curl. Will it curl with beachy waves/ curls that you can get from a curling iron… not quite- at least for MY hair. I have light- medium brown hair, that I highlight. My hair is long, about 4” from my waist. My hair is naturally wavy, dry, I have a lot of hair but not coarse. I washed my hair, let it mostly air dry and then I started wrapping. After I finished I thought that during sleep it would come out, that is was too loose. So I rewrapped it- tighter!! I think this was my mistake, because my hair curls easily, and holds a curl for a long long time.So when I woke up and took out the “ribbon” I had super tight curls up top, and looser curls on the bottom. Don’t over tighten you hair if you are expecting loose curls (duh on me).. also I like to let my hair air dry the majority of the time. I think if this was during the day, and I pop this on to let my hair finish drying it’ll be perfect!! I did slip my silk cap over top to sleep, which I think wasn’t needed to hold it, it did feel pretty secure. I just always sleep in a cap to protect my hair.. it wasn’t super uncomfortable to sleep in, so that was a bonus. Although if you’re a side sleeper, you might have issues. The packaging was beautiful, and really nice! The clip holds really tight, to keep the “ribbon in place” and the silk scrunchies are a generous size and really well made. I chose this hair curler because I wanted the quality, where the other cheaper options didn’t seem to have that. I feel like I made the right choice! The only thing- I wish there were more directions!! (This is why 4 stars) I felt like I was just winging it! My end result shows it!! I wish there would have been a little picture instruction. Overall, it’ll definitely be a trial and error until you can get it right for YOUR hair, and the look you’re trying to achieve! I hope in the future they will make the curler in different thicknesses, I think this could stand to be slightly thicker for those who want looser curls.

It’s easy and convenient
The product package was very pretty and once you get the hang of twisting up your hair, it’s pretty easy. The results are real and the curls are pretty. I love that I don’t have to use any heat

Shocked
So I was skeptical at the reviews. I purchased this thinking it wasn’t going to work. My hair is stick straight and is a challenge to stay curly. I watched one placement video and went after it. Went to bed with the contraption on (hurt my ears a little so next time I will adjust the placement) and when I woke up I was a little surprised it was all still Holding strong. I pulled everything off and my curls looked amazing. It’s now 8 hours later and I still have great looking curls!!! And this is without using ANY product on it. If you have doubts, don’t. Just grab this product!!!

The silk heatless curler works!
It took me about three times to really figure out that the tighter you wrap your hair around the curler the better off you’ll be. And don’t be afraid to comb the curls! I shouldn’t admit this but I don’t have a brush, I use a wide- tooth comb. Even my hairstylist is impressed with what this curler does for my hair, which is almost mid-back length. The real challenge will be using it on my natural hair not blown straight.

hard as a log
I thought sellers who charge 50$ for such simple product would put some effort into making quality product. This one is not the case: imagine you have a hard tree branch covered with silk. Now try braiding/curling your hair around that. This is torture to use and even if you managed to curl your hair around it, it still doesn't want to stay put, it has mind of its own and tries to go back to the shape it prefers (the zigzag one). One star for using silk (nice material), but the product is impossible to use
