Item exactly as described! Shut down PC, install card, boot PC. Done. Instant 20Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port. I tested it with a SSK NVMe SSD Enclosure, 20Gbps PCIE M.2 Enclosure SSD Case, NVMe to USB C 3.2GEN2X2, NVMe Adapter 2280/2260/2242/2230 Enclosure SSD Reader M-Key/B+M Key with LED Indicator Aluminum Alloy (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZN5TDFQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and a Crucial P3 4TB NVMe drive, the cheapest I could find. Works perfect. USB port on the back is placed correctly, without interfering with the PC case. LP form-factor and included LP bracket is a plus, since it fits in many SFF PCs. Great product that works as advertised.

Automatically installed the drivers unlike some other 2x2 cards I’ve tried. Power delivery (it’s low but I’ll take it) and data transfer working right away no extra steps.Getting advertised speeds on a Samsung t5 external drive. Definitely a good buy if you have an older motherboard!

Fast ! Even when installed in a PCIe v 2.0 slot... Paired with an ASM2364 based enclosure from Orico. Very happy ! Easy upgrade.

Take advantage of fast external SSDs
I bought this to take advantage of my fast portable SSDs (SanDisk Extreme Pro) speeds on my desktop, and it performs right on, taking a chunk of time when transferrng large files!

it works so well. the motherboard i got didnt have a thunderbolt connector on it so i got this as a workaround. does its job and it does it well.

Amazing item
Anyone with a desktop that doesn't have the lastest usb 3.2. Gen2x2 20Gbps this item just works right out of the box with any pcie slot x16 x8 x4 x1 with windows or linux no external power needed just plug and play works great 100%

Never saw more than 8w testing against my usbc battery pack with digital readout.Also, cannot keep a quest 3 charged while using it.

Fast Transfers on PCIe 3.0 Workstation. Sustained Transfer Speeds of 11.36 Gbps
Easy install on my workstation. Allows fast transfer of files from my Sandisk Extreme Pro 2TB drive to my internal NVMEs. I was seeing in the 1.42 GB/s (11.36 Gbps) range for transfer speeds. Not quite the 20 Gbps that USB 3.2 Gen2 2x2 can deliver, but I suspect some of the drop in speed is because it is PCIe 3.0 (vs 4.0) and there are probably a bunch of additional optimizations that I can make that I haven't yet. But so far so good.
