The media could not be loaded.  Not stainless steel. And has screws sticking up on the base that food gets trapped on/hard to clean. Super low quality product, and I’m annoyed I was lied to yet again about something being stainless steel.

I have been using one of these all of my life. They last 3 to 5 years. At some point they just start to fall apart. This seems well built. It does what it's supposed to do and the price is right.

Works very well for steaming vegetables. The metal cools down quickly when removed from pot. I’ve only used it about a half dozen times but so far it’s held up well.

I've used these steamers in the past; they are functional and easy to use. Sometimes I don't feel like getting out my big steamer pan so I just put this in the bottom of a large sauce pan and steam a few vegetables for a single meal. Because of the short legs on this steamer, you can't put too much water in the bottom of the pan, so keep an eye on the water level.

The photo says it all. This is a trash item from you-know-where. The pins on the bottom are NOT stainless. First use was steaming potatoes…pins turned black, left a black ring in my saucepan and damaged the bottom. Even BarKeepers Friend couldn’t get it off. Can’t say why this thing has so many high reviews, unless the manufacturer has recently changed to cheaper metal. Definitely would not use this again! It’s going back today, and I’ll look for one made in the USA.

Excellent quality and very helpful. It's easy to use and clean. Everything is good except just the size. There was no mention of size anywhere on Amazon but on the product package it was mentioned that the size is Large. And there was one more option XL. It would have been nice if the XL size selection was available.

I had never steamed broccoli before, so the first time I did it was without this nifty tool and any broccoli touching the bottom of the pan had burnt. Upon research, I discovered that people use this tool to prevent that, so I purchased this one and the results were great. No more burnt broccoli! I haven't found any reason to give this tool other than 5 stars.

I've had this for a year and it looks brand new. Very sturdy and easy to fold open and closed. A bit bigger than I expected (fits tightly in a saucepan) but overall great. I have to admit it's a bit hard to wash by hand (as would any other models be I assume).

Es muy fácil de usar y se puede adaptar a cualquier olla, no ocupa espacio para guardarlo. Su calidad es buena.

Está perfecta !, pero OJO , debes ponerla en una olla de peltre o alguna olla vieja, porq las patas de la canastilla pueden rayar la olla
