Q: Is there expiration on this ?

There is not. The beauty of powder food color is that unlike liquid food color there really is no ingredient in the recipe that will go bad or spoil. It is very stable for many years at almost any temperature and unless it has changed color or is visually off the product remains stable. Thanks!

Q: can this be used to dye popped popcorn?

Yes it could however, FD&C food color is extremely pigmented and can be staining so I would do so at the risk of your own fingers turning whatever color you've used! We have never done this though so this answer is not from experience. Let us know if any one tries this. Thanks!
