Realistic, affordable and well made
We purchased these for our older gas fireplace, which only had sand and embers when we moved in. The price for the quantity of logs was much lower than we'd seen elsewhere, except for a tiny set. I wish there'd been a half size since we can only fit about half of these logs in our fireplace, but they look nice in a basket next to the fireplace for an added touch of realism. We only needed to use one of the large logs and maybe 4 of the smaller ones. They didn't turn black and they defiintely helped disperse the flames for a fuller, more realistic looking fire. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Very happy with this purchase!

Works perfectly
Was easy to setup, makes the fireplace throw off a noticeably greater magnitude of radiant heat, and looks like real wood and glowing wood coals! Beautiful.

Fake Firewood That’s Actually Hot: Not a Metaphor
These things look so real you’ll be second-guessing your life choices. I mean, they’ve got that whole “I’m a real log” vibe down. And they’re durable too! These logs can take the heat without turning into a pile of ash—unlike some of you after a week in the office. Setting them up? A breeze. It’s easier than convincing your uncle that his conspiracy theories are nonsense. And let’s not forget the versatility—ventless, electric, gas, you name it, these logs fit right in. Plus, they radiate heat like they’re auditioning for the role of the sun in a low-budget movie. But here’s the kicker—they’re a bit smaller than you’d expect. If you’re looking to fill a massive fireplace, you might end up with a ceramic version of “Honey, I Shrunk the Logs.” And they’re light. So light that a strong breeze might rearrange your perfect log art. The color? Slightly off. It’s like they went for a “rustic chic” but landed somewhere around “confused artist.” And the packaging? Let’s just say it’s like wrapping a gift with tissue paper and hoping for the best. Lastly, the price tag—some might call it steep, but hey, what’s the cost of avoiding splinters, right? In all, these Stanbroil logs are a win if you’re looking to add some faux-authentic flair to your fireplace. Sure, they’ve got their quirks, but who doesn’t? I gave this a 4 out of 5 because, despite the minor annoyances, they do their job and look good doing it. Plus, they won’t leave you with a pile of ashes to clean up. Individual mileage may vary, but hey, that’s life.

Better than expected
*** CERAMIC LOGS GET HOT AND RETAIN HEAT *** *** LIKE A REAL LOG DON’T TOUCH THEM UNTIL THEY COOL. ***.Get creative setting these 10 logs up for best results in your particular situation. No instructions, because natural logs don’t have instructions. Added bonus, as ceramic logs heat up the flame size and intensity gets better. Give it a few minutes. Natural soot will also develop giving the logs a great look after a few fires.
